Hulk vs Wolverine: Here's Who Would Win

Soft spoken Genius and Master Physicist, Bruce Banner was working on a gamma bomb when a freak accident caused the bomb to go off exposing Doctor Banner to fatal high doses of gamma radiation. Instead of melting him in place, the radiation gave life to the bottled rage inside, releasing the Incredible Hulk. Now whenever the gentle Scientist gets angry, years of repressed rage bubbles up from the depths and the Hulk reveals himself. The Green Machine of Rage takes over destroying anything that gets in his way.

You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Hulk's Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman strength. The Hulk has saved worlds with his strength, and he has destroyed worlds. His strength is limited only by his rage, which no one has seen the limits yet…thankfully.  The Hulk is arguably one of the strongest physical beings in the universe.

Incredible healing factor. His healing ability is well on par with Wolverine and Deadpool. The angrier Hulk becomes, the better his regenerative abilities grow.

Superhuman speed. With incredible strength comes equally incredible speed. Hulk can run as fast as the speed of sound.

Invulnerability. This green mound of meat can withstand extreme cold and heat, even the heat of the sun. There’s a reason he doesn’t wear armor, his skin is nearly indestructible.

Limitless stamina. Hulk can fight at full capacity for days and not break a bead of sweat.

Hulk Thunderclap. Hulk can clap his hands together with such force that he can deflect explosions and energy beams.

Can’t fly, but he can cross countries in a single leap.

Wolverine:

You want a piece of me, Bub?

And in this corner we have the Man of Mystery, call him the Beast with the Adamantium Skeleton, Ol' Canucklehead, call him Logan, just don’t call Wolverine soft, it may be the last thing you ever say. A former test subject from the Weapon X facility where they fused his skeleton with Adamantium. Add his indestructible skeleton with the insane healing ability, and add in a dash of raging temper and you have one dangerous foe. Good thing he’s one of the good guys. Wolverine eventually joined the X-Men and has been a trusted member since.  In his own words, Wolverine is— “The best at what I do.”

Wolverine’s Powers and Abilities:

Heightened senses. No one can get the jump on Wolverine. He will smell or hear enemies coming before can gain the element of surprise.

Superhuman strength. With the reinforced skeleton, Wolverine can flip cars or break through nearly any material without getting so much as a splinter.

Adamantium claws. Three indestructible claws capable of slicing, dicing, and chopping through all your everyday villains and nearly any other materials. They’re better than Ginsu knives.

Mastery over hand to hand combat and martial arts. Even without the special abilities you don’t want to get into a fistfight with Wolverine.

Resistance to psychic attacks. Not only does Wolverine’s Adamantium skull protect him from concussions, bullets, and flying pots from jilted lovers, but it makes him all but shrug off telepathic attacks.

Berserker rage. If pushed to the limit Logan will go into a Berserker Rage. His claws become superheated, his abilities and strengths grow exponentially and he becomes an unstoppable force. The drawback is his healing weakens and friend and foe are at risk of becoming a memory.

These two titans of rage go at each other like steroid infused, rabid animals. It’s a flurry of fists and claws as these two unleash relentless physical power upon each other. One is an unstoppable force, the other is an unyielding presence. Wolverine might have a slight edge over the green machine when it comes to fighting tactics, but Hulk is exponentially stronger than the former Weapon X experiment.

It looks like the Hulk might have this round. Logan made a slight miscalculation concerning the immense speed of the Hulk, and the green monster grabbed hold of Wolverine and began smashing him into the ground like a limp rag doll. But wait! Wolverine is able to shrug off the beating and get his indestructible claws deep into the flesh of the Hulk’s arm. Wolverine’s claws are one of the few materials that can actually cut the impenetrable, armored skin of the Hulk.

The pain from the deep gashes enrages the Hulk even more, which in turn increases his strength and powers. He grabs the Wolverine again and pounds him with more fury into the ground. The Adamantium skeleton continues to hold up, but how much more punishment can it take? Logan looks groggy, that last world crushing blow did some damage. It looks like Wolverine might just lose this fight.

But wait ladies and gentlemen. Wolverine starts to glow. His claws heat up to the color of molten lava and he unleashes a roar that signifies he has reached critical mass. Has Wolverine entered the legendary state of Berserker Rage? With escalating strength and abilities, along with superheated Adamantium claws, Wolverine unleashes a torrent of punishing slashes upon the Hulk. It’s a flurry of green flesh and flying red blood as Berserker Wolverine goes to town on the Hulk. The Green Rage Machine can’t keep up with the increased fury and superheated Adamantium claws. The final blow is delivered when Wolverine sinks all six claws into the Hulk’s head. This fight is over!

Lights out.

Conclusion.

Wolverine wins in this round because of his expert fighting prowess and the ability of Berserker Rage. With his already superhuman abilities increased, Wolverine became a flurry of strength and blades that Hulk simply could not contend with. Hulk and Wolverine have gone at each other many times before, and the results are always unpredictable. Sometimes Hulk destroys Wolverine, sometimes it’s the other way around, but in this scenario, Wolverine comes out just slightly ahead. If these two titans of pain ever meet again, the end result is anything but predetermined.
