Rita has had the privilege of experiencing gaming both as a hobby and a job. As a result she has explored a fair bit of the world map thus far, having fast travelled around Europe to work on projects in different AAA companies, both as a QA and Localisation Tester. She has published both fiction and non-fiction articles, and hopes to one day combine her two favorite things by writing for a video game, thus achieving her final form as a professional geek.

Rita's favorite games range from permadeath survival titles such as Don't Starve and The Long Dark, colony sims like Rimworld, and story-driven RPGs like the Dragon Age series. She will happily spend hours extolling their virtues, grumbling at their faults, or commiserating about how unfairly unforgiving some game is (only to spend a couple more hundred hours on it right after). As a result, it surprised absolutely no one that she ended up ranting - ahem- writing about video games.
