In a futuristic utopia where a surveillance state has silenced freedom with its police monitoring all conversations, a rag-tag group of runners transfer messages by hand, running on rooftops and evading the police. Faith is one such runner, whose skills are put to the test when her policewoman sister is framed for murder. Fighting to clear her sister's name whilst a fugitive herself, Faith must find out who framed her sister and fight for survival at once.

In this unique platformer that for the first time involves first-person parkour, players traverse rooftops, perform acrobatic leaps and run from - or fight the police as they fight a corrupt and oppressive fascist state.

I wasn't to impressed, especially playing the game years after it was released. Its graphics are dated and the experience feels very pre-planned and steered by the developers which isn't a good thing in a game that's supposed to be about freedom of movement. Perhaps the new version of the game is better and updated.

Fast-paced landscaping and blood-pumping city chases are what make Mirror's Edge a masterpiece. No time to take a tour of the sights but still an amazingly captivating game, revealing glimpses of the story line in almost anime form.

Mirror's edge, is just a simple parkour but with great possibilities to give you a heart attack. Running on hundred feet buildings, you can jump and fall in every second. The story is simple too. That's the bad part of the story. You just jump.. a lot, trying to complete the missions. Only increases the difficulty of the mision. Eventhough, great graphics and a lot of light.

Years passed but Mirrors Edge is still the best parkour game that ever existed. What makes this game so awesome is definitely the mechanics. You can hardly find another game in which you really feel as if you are actually running and not floating through the air. Moreover, there is an utterly unfriendly world around you, so what are you waiting for? It’s time to run!

This game is just average to me.The excitement is there however, it doesn't really have the boost to keep me attracted to it. It doesn't have the addiction to make me really want to continue playing. Relatively well done on the graphics and the short term excitement that it brings but the lack of an actual good storyline killed it.

The city is your home... but also your dead hole. You can do whatever you want, whatever you dreamed when you was a kid, but take up the risk ! Jump, slide, run, with all the fun of the world !

First Person Platforming done right. I was cautious when I started the game for the first time, but my worries were quickly dismissed. Mirror's Edge manages to make the player feel as if they were the ones running around on rooftops. It also succeeds where other first person games have failed: when I play, I always know where my character's feet and arms are, and I don't just feel like a floating camera. Definitely worth a try.

you wake up and see the buildings and you think tha going up with your own hands is not an obstacle, if you do not think twice on extreme amusement and leave only be with flow in the momentum, this is your game, combines the story of a future of a controlling government the natural movements as a first person game make everything flow and leads to a state of of trance, the soundtrack is effective in exact moments at each stage will make you be more swift and fast and jump each hurdle and enjoy

Excellent game mechanics with a broad world to roam. This game shows that you do not need to shoot a lot of bad guys to create a masterpiece.
