Enter a new chapter in the life of Max Payne: the relentless, near unstoppable NYPD detective who will mercilessly bring death to anyone who cause him pain. It has been 9 years since the events of the last game. Max has been discharged from the NYPD and now spends his days drinking alcohol and developing an addiction for painkillers. One night after having a drunken argument, Max kills the son of a local gang boss - Anthony Demarco, who puts a bounty on his head. In retaliation, Max kills most of Demarco's gang members before deciding to leave the country to put his past behind.

Accepting a job as a private security contractor in Brazil, Max starts working for the wealthy Branco family in Sao Paolo. However, things start to get nasty when his boss' wife, Fabiana, is kidnapped by members of the Comando Sombra gang who demand a $3 million ransom. Max must now get his hands dirty once again, hunting down the gang members responsible and bringing Fabiana home safely. Players will take control of Max Payne as he engages heavily armed gangsters in an all-out war that will leave heaps of dead bodies scattered on the streets of Sao Paolo, Brazil.

A great game with an intriguing and full of suspense storyline, and a great gameplay. I mean jumping around in slo-mo never gets old. Plus if you have played the previous Max Payne games you will feel genuinely attached emotional to mister Payne, here.

Another masterpiece from Rockstar Games, wherein we follow our beloved protagonist from the streets of New York to the hoods of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Immersive gunplay, breakthrough graphics and a script to make us reminisce of the previous games, this game is sure to satisfy longtime fans of the saga.

Max Payne 3 is more time consuming with great graphics and writing. I think game is difficult and takes time to settle. This game pushes the player to play more. It is for mature game fans.

The best Payne yet, complete with a deeply satisfying cinematic experience. The end result is impressive, compelling, led, first and foremost, by excellent writing, voice over acting and a gripping sense of challenge and environment. I have replayed 3 times through and never tire of it. You have to wonder if this might be the end of the franchise because I cannot imagine a better Max Payne product.

Max Payne 3 is definitely one of the best third person shooters. There is so much action and a great plot which makes you just want to keep playing it. The multiplayer option is great as well.

Max Payne 3, while straying away from the beloved comic book panel cutscenes, still manages to feel like Max Payne. It's bigger, brighter and flashier, with a Man on Fire influence both in terms of aesthetics and the central story. Combined with the non-stop adrenaline fueled action, it's a fun ride.

Well, i haven't really tried the first two games in the series, but i really enjoyed Max Payne 3 as they could provide you with more than enough action that you could possibly get within one game. So far Max Payne is one of my favorite third person shooters as they give you action and they provide the right environment in the game world. Rockstar studios has for a long time impressed with games such as GTA, but here they added an even better storyline, although there were too many cutscenes

The brilliant sequel to the second game does not fail to amaze. With a great plot, amazing improved mechanics, and smooth gameplay, Max Payne 3 is truly one of the best third person shooters to date. Although the multiplayer is quite disappointing due to constant issues, the storyline has replayability value.

Max Payne 3 is this generation's most important third-person shooters PC game. Max Payne 3 is the best shooter game that i ever played. Its more realistic than Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2. With Max Payne 3, Rock stars Games prove that the studio masters the action-type game in the most brilliant way. In this PC version controls and visual effects are better than PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Max Payne is a continuous reward. His tragic story and bitter traits make for one of noir's best protagonists. The third installment of the game series expands Max Payne's world into something more detailed and deadly than found in the past games. Old fans and new fans will be rewarded. The action has excellent pacing. The story flows and the music adds depth. Play the game.

The first two installments of Max Payne are the most definitive pieces of 'Game noir'. Max Payne 3 brings us the next episode of the crime drama that folded out before our eyes in the early 2000s, and it is every bit as dark and depressing as the first two games were. And yet, it's different. New, older Max founds himself in the unfamiliar environment of Brazil, and now he fights not for revenge or himself, but for his employer. For a time, at least. Get ready for some time Bullet Time action!
