Bioware's third installment in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3, strengthens the core mechanics the first two games had only just scratched the surface. With a rich and expansive world, charismatic and intriguing characters, and a story that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, I can fully say that this game has it all. The fast-paced action of a sci-fi shooter to the mind-challenging puzzles and explorations of an RPG, Mass Effect 3 is one amazing game.

The Mass Effect series has been redefining itself in terms of gameplay with each installment, moving further and further from its RPG roots in favor of more action-heavy gunplay, which is disappointing. That aside, a fan of the series won't be disappointed here, as Mass Effect 3 offers the same well-implemented dialogue system, difficult decisions, and characters that have made the series such a hit up to this point.

Mass Effect 3 is an epic space opera that perfectly wraps up the trilogy. The storyline is engaging and emotional, the gameplay is smooth and satisfying, and the characters are well-developed and memorable. The addition of multiplayer is a nice touch, adding even more replay value to an already fantastic game. Overall, Mass Effect 3 is a must-play for fans of the series and anyone looking for a thrilling sci-fi adventure

The mechanics were def improved and the game play was great there is no arguing that. However, it did feel rushed especially towards the end which gave the player no options at first at how it ended, It just ended. Although the DLC did fix that it didn't at the same time. The ending still felt rushed and really gave no answers to how things ended. We had three to four possible endings and that was it. Which one is the true/cannon ending of the game. That being said of all the video games out there I would still play the Mass Effect Series, even ME3 as there were some great moments in there that I have yet to see other games do.

I'd say they definitely improved on the mechanics of their past games. The graphics were spot on and the characters stood out in their own ways. The story just needed some minor tweaks to have made it a perfect game.

The gameplay was disappointingly one-dimensional in my opinion.

The much awaited Mass Effect 3 delivered , following the hype that surrounded it, a great story based on decision, gorgeous gameplay, great graphics powered by Unreal Engine 3 and a not so well executed ending. Releasing a DLC in parallel with the main game, and offering a short ending, the game quickly became engulfed in controversy. When EA marketed the game, they said that the ending will be fulfiling and based on all decisions throughout the trilogy, however things were very different, thus releasing a free DLC with an "enhanced" ending seemed the way to go. Mass Effect 3 stands out as one of the most atmospheric games ever produced, with tons of dialogue, quests, well developed characters that spans over 40 hours of excellent gameplay. As Commander Shepard, you have to save the galaxy from the Reapers, a group of machine creatures aiming to destroy our beautiful world. Mass Effect 3 is taking place in a distant future where many aline races try to survive fighting each other and also form relations. Along the journey, you meet with wonderful characters that join you, want to kill you, envy you, or admire you. A few noticable characters are: Garrus, Miranda, Ashley, Wrex and Joker(voiced by Seth Green). Be sure to try the Ultimate edition for all DLCs and the "upgraded" ending! Have tons of fun!

I love Mass Effect 3. Do you want to blow up a diversity of aliens with your bullets... OR WITH YOUR MIND!? (well, biotics. But who's keeping track). I'd say your class has a large influence on how you approach the game: head-on or with more tactics. The story line was entertaining (even the side quests), your party members are diverse and interesting in their own unique ways and your choices of destroying your enemy is endless. It is one of those games I played for hours on end and multiple times since you can either be a bad-ass or a good-ass (or a neutral ass if you wish). I highly recommend playing Mass Effect 3.

The final installment of a marvelous series, Mass Effect 3 represents one of the best products the gaming industry has to offer. It takes character and game design to a whole new level, sowing together round characters, an intricate story line, with an immersive combat experience and fluid game mechanics. ME 3 sticks true to its guns, delivering the same breath-taking plot line with an equally jaw-dropping finale. If it were to ever be summarized in one word, that word would be ”immersion”. And for those who would not agree, I would remind them of the massive backlash Bioware received after fans did a full walkthrough; you don't get that kind of reaction unless you're doing something right. And that's what this game felt like - the right thing.

Mass Effect 3 is undoubtedly one of the greatest games of this generation. In its entirety, the Mass Effect saga already redefined gamer's community standards with his incredibly compelling story, intriguing and innovative gameplay, and breath-taking graphics. Yet ME3 manages ti bring all these qualities to the next level with exceptional story-telling and captivating character development that will get you feel emotionally attached to them the same way you do with a TV series!

Mass Effect the most diverse RPG to ever land on your PC. It is extremely detail oriented mixed with the relationship you feel to your character and the comrades you wade into battle with. This series took gaming to a whole new level and delivered a new look into the sci-fi genre.

The best from ME series, marvelous sound effect and come with exceptional graphic texture. That's beside the point, though. Mass Effect 3 is a game about endings. Every main mission is an ending. Most of the side quests are an ending. From the start, the story is concluding and stripping away everything that had been built over the past two games. Many are brilliant; the kind of memorable farewell that has genuine emotional resonance. That's quite an achievement for a big-budget RPG series about fun space adventure.

Battling with the comrades in this galactic war to take Earth back gives the real feel that I am going to take the earth back. The story is hard hitting always. It will force you to make tough decisions in the galaxy. It is not necessary to get the best ending in the game. In the end, mass effect 3 is different and special. The booting process of the pc version is smoother than the previous games (like mass effect 1 and 2).

Mass Effect 3 brings us more action and RPG elements, along with an epic story full of decisive moments. The fans got angry about the ending and in fact that it’s the problem of the game. But, nowadays, you can download the ‘extended ending’ in form of a free DLC and it gives the last moments a much satisfying finale.

Bioware have tried their utmost best to wave a fond farewell to their much-acclaimed space saga by setting the ante higher than ever before. Disappointingly, the developers seemed to have over-reached themselves a bit here. Player choices do not seem to matter as much as ME 2, and the game looks a little dated compared to it's excellent predecessor. Also, some gamers (myself included) did not take well to the more controversial ideas, like the ending and all the (unnecessary) innuendo. A solid game game as a stand-alone, but fails to live up to it's predecessor's quality.

This is the best space RPG. While the game's last moments were a complete letdown compared to the cliff-hangers in the first two episodes of the saga, the universe and game mechanics were so intelligently put together that one might almost forgive the developers for that oversight. If you like RPGs with great storytelling, believable and interesting characters, and an immersive, well designed galaxy to explore, then this one surely stands alone as one of the best games ever made.

This a fantastic game for story-boarding. Not only does it provide a consistent plot for a story but it also offers a sophisticated characterization that looks realistic and powerful. Great performances and mind-blowing action sequences.

While it finally made the action perfect with the addition of a combat role and making more powers accessible, party conversation options were limited and several side quests were boring. The overarching story was good, up until the final 3 minutes and your party is mostly handled well and receive proper, emotional farewells.

The ending of a momentous, and epic saga, Mass Effect 3 delivers in it's promises and is a must-play for anyone even slightly interested in the subject matter or pasts games. Every choice from the two previous games will come to a head in the final instalment, completing you personal journey that was started in Mass Effect 1.

Mass Effect 3 is the crown on the ME series. Like the others the storytelling is as amazing as it is epic. The characters are well developed to the point that you actually begin to feel like you know them. The combat has been turned up a notch and the customization and dialog options will have you wanting to play it again.

For a sci fi writer, there is no better game than Mass Effect 3. Not only is it an action-packed and engaging RPG shooter, but it is packed full of characters that you can’t help but root for.

The final chapter of Commander Shepard’s epic war against the Reapers DELIVERS, especially for fans of the series, though not so much for newcomers. Combat is fast, fresh, and fun. Superb writing and memorable characters drive the plot to an epic conclusion that, ultimately, stumbles under its own weight.

Despite the backlash the game received for the final choice(s) lack of visual impact on the universe, the game remains to this day as one of the greatest RPGs to date. They delivered an epic (if sometimes broken) single player campaign and a survival mode I still play three years later. One which featured several top notch, free, dlc that kept the experience interesting for years. It will be a challenge for them to create a more interesting hero than Shepard in Bioware's next series.

Mass Effect 3 is the perfect end to the Bioware’s Saga. In phase basically with the universe the developers created a few years ago, they added some improvements about design and quality of playing, as we could hope in 2012 when the game was released. When others developers chose to play the card of the “modern warfare”, Bioware bet into something different, fresh, and they definitely did the right choice.

The final game in the series, Mass Effect 3 does not disappoint. With mesmerizing story lines and the ease of play, this game will have you hooked for hours. The story delivers hope, sadness, despair, and salvation all in one little ball of likability. The lack of open world planet exploration is a let down, but the improved AI and game play make up for it. There is little doubt that ME3 delivers on all levels and has to be one of my favorites of the series.

Absolutely the best game I've ever played, as far as game play is concerned. It has an enriching storyline that keeps you glued to your chair. The ending was crap, but I can't say enough positive things about this game.

Improving on everything in its predecessor Mass Effect 3 creates a memorable experience for the conclusion of this epic sci-fi series. The gameplay continues its solid performance that the second entry created. The story brings your decisions from past games together and ties off long running plots from the first game.

Probably one of the most controversial ending to an epic trilogy by Bioware, Mass Effect 3 leaves gamers dazed and looking for more answers at the end of the game and at the same time provide them emotional satisfaction of playing through a very progressive storyline filled with action, drama and brilliant music which all make it very engaging. Traveling between systems and exploring planets helps capture the beauty of extra-terrestrial beings and their worlds.

Mass Effect 3 is a flawed, but beautiful gem. Even though its ending has received a large overhaul since the launch, it's still bound to leave a fan of the series somewhat dissatisfied. The DLC content, with the notable exception of Citadel, also lacks substance and polish. For some, these issues may prove unforgivable, which is a terrible shame, because the emotions evoked by the story can honestly be compared to those one would feel when watching a brilliant movie.

Bioware's highly anticipated game delivers on the hype with resounding satisfaction. Veterans and new players alike are greeted with an intensely compelling storyline, complex characters and a universe demanding choices that grey the line between right and wrong. Existentialism, genocide and taking over a flagship by spacewalking on its hull, Mass Effect 3 delivers on a huge scale and sets the bar even higher, right up until the most disappointing ending in the history of gaming. Spoiler alert!

Undoubtedly one of the games to remember from this era , what mass effect brings to the table is more than just your standard RPG contents. Mass Effect 3 is the last of the trilogy and an end of an elaborate journey as shephard and his adventures reach new planets and interactions between the characters teach you that making choices isnt easy and living with them is harder. The Impeccable game-play, moving soundtracks and the sheer emotional depth of the setting make it a most commendable game.

This space adventure puts you in the shoes of Shepard, a commander of the Normandy 7 spaceship. With an impending invasion by an entity known as "The Reapers", you must guide Shepard on his journey across the stars. The soundtrack is completely on par with the epic adventure, creating tension, euphoria and solemn moments in an incredible journey in the eyes of another. A true masterpiece, reminding you more of a hollywood blockbuster than a game.

This is technically impressive game which, sadly, suffers from worrisome dose of melancholy and, occasionally, some identity crisis. After three long games of building relationships with a number of side protagonists, it all culminates in bittersweet ending which doesn't give us a lot of answers. Still, Mass Effect 3 is one of the best games in recent years, but it has to be looked upon as a whole series, not just the last installment.

The most interesting thing about it, this game makes player to think what are beyond this sol system.Even for me, a hater of cosmic based wars, this game made me feel interested. Shepard was recognized as a threat for Reapers, he could defeat Collectors, Saren and Sovereign. The Harbinger was firing in the last Earth battle in Shepard, even his laser beam attack could not defeat Shepard completely, he found the Catalyst, and rescued entire galaxy sacrificing himself...

When the only bad thing someone can say about a game is that the ending was bad, you know you have to play it. ME3 it´s a perfect blend of the RPG and TPS we loved from the first two games, bringing back a lot of the customization and micromanagement from the first and improving the heavily action packed combat from the second release. The criticism laid on the endings it´s just a reflection of our desire to play more so give it an unbiased try. Also probing doesn´t make you want to die anymore!
