About - Rachael Matthews: Rachael Matthews is a young scholar from the Texas coast. She has traveled across the states to the fine land of Savannah Georgia to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, studying Interactive Design and Game Development. Rachael has an extensive background in writing for games, reaching from writing published game reviews to developing professional-grade trailers for video and board games. Passionate about videogames, and a lover of writing, Rachael combines the two to deliver honest and well thought out reviews of her favorite games. Her works have been well received by not only the Steam community but Gamasutra and the GDC. Rachael has been playing games since the womb, well not exactly. Growing up in a sheltered house it was mostly full of watching her older brothers play games such as Tomb Raider, Jak and Daxter, the Halo games, and many... many more. She entered the gaming scene by playing League of legends in 2014 and has been playing it since. Since 2014 Rachael has evolved into an avid game consumer and has expanded her game knowledge at a rapid rate. Matthews' favorite genre being indie, she consumes them at a rapid rate.
