About - Iwan Spillebeen: Iwan bought his first PC, a ZX Spectrum+, back in 1983 and since software wasn’t easy to come by in those days, having to learn coding was a natural thing to do. Back then, the easiest way to learn coding was to make games, from simple adventure games (now know as RPGs) to 2D platform games. The gaming bug hit Iwan at a young age, and it never stopped, Iwan build a career in software development and digital transformation and went on to build several companies specialised in blockchain technology and artificial intelligence, he has lived in 8 different countries across 2 continents, and combined with his love for reading and writing, never stopped playing PC games. The thrill of exploring and writing about early access games, initial releases and new to be discovered gems have led him through many franchises such as fallout, GTA, Assassins Creed, NeverWinterNights, XCom, FarCry, Tomb Raider, Baldurs’s gate from their very first releases through playing the powerhouses they have become today. Always on the lookout for that next great game to play and dive into for hours, he is more than happy to explore them for you and with you. While he mostly plays RPGs and fantasy games, you may bump into him online in the occasional FPS under the pseudonym Ghost or GhostDreamer, make sure to say hi when you do (if he doesn’t kill you first of course).
