About - Jared Thomas: Jared has spent over 28 years playing video games, beginning with the humble NES back in the early 90s. Jared's favorite games range from classic JRPGs like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IX, and Persona 4, to timeless action titles like God of War II and Metal Gear Solid 3. This is only scratching the surface, however--from platformers like Crash Bandicoot to beat-'em-ups like TMNT IV: Turtles in Time, Jared has favorites in nearly all genres! But that's not all! Not only is Jared a long-time gamer, he is also a professional writer (and security guard, but that's another story for another time)! Graduating from college with a BA in English writing and research, he spent the past decade writing over 200 anime reviews for old anime forums and, mostly, his personal review blog. Now, the time has come to branch out--video games have long been a favorite pasttime of his, and it's high-time to convert that decades-long passion into high-quality writing!
