7 Minecraft Wonders of the World
Astonishing feats of Architecture

5. Temple of Artemis by Shimoto

This looks like a dungeon entrance from an old game

Artemis’s Temple is another of the 7 Wonders of the World that was visited by many during its glory days. The old temple was rebuilt three times before it was finally destroyed. Today only the foundation of the temple remains.

Its got ponies. Everyone likes ponies right?

The originator of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, the Antipater of Sidon, spoke these words regarding the temple:

I have set eyes on the wall of lofty Babylon on which is a road for chariots, and the statue of Zeus by the Alpheus, and the hanging gardens, and the colossus of the Sun, and the huge labour of the high pyramids, and the vast tomb of Mausolus; but when I saw the house of Artemis that mounted to the clouds, those other marvels lost their brilliancy, and I said, "Lo, apart from Olympus, the Sun never looked on aught so grand"

Shimoto and JCHelland are responsible for this incredible reconstruction in Minecraft. Hats off to them for an amazing job!

Just incredible!
