The Civilization series puts you in control of a nation, under a famous world leader, and tasks you with bringing your civilization from a nomadic tribe to a nation with global influence. This can be achieved through being the most cultured, conquering everyone, winning a UN election or being the first into space. This coop game is for those with the patience for long games and a bit of strategic smarts.

Molding history in your own image can be quite intriguing, and the several expansions to the series make it so you’ll have plenty of options to play around with. Once you and your friends learn the mechanics of the game, you'll be able to have some memorable games filled with diplomacy, war, and watching your nations expand. There are many notable people in history that you can take control of trying to create the civilization you always wanted, or at least one that is better than your friends.
