I have a slight hunch that the man isn't friendly

The first Outlast game gave you control of a journalist who might’ve been a little over zealous in his work since he decided to infiltrate a locked down asylum based on a tip he had received. Of course the asylum was full of murderous lunatics, freaky cultists, and a whole lot of dead bodies. You couldn’t fight and so your only options were to run and hide.

That is what makes this game so great though, in many other horror games you can simply remove the scary factor by standing up and unleashing a flurry of bullets into the creepy monster, but not in this game. The sequel will take place in a different location with new characters, but it will undoubtedly have the same true horror feel to it.
