While this game was very well received and has one of the most intriguing stories in video games, it is also brutally violent. You take on the role of Kratos as he seeks to bring revenge and justice to the mount of Olympus. Throughout the game you end up brutally killing all the Gods on Olympus as well as several other unfortunate souls like Hercules. At some point Kratos really ought to realize that killing everyone and everything won’t bring his family back.

The acts of violence in this game include the dismembering of human bodies with knives, pulling the head off a person’s body with your bare hands, and stabbing people in the chest with massive swords as blood goes gushing absolutely everywhere. Someone should let the game developers know that there are only about 5 liters of blood in the human body.
