Kickstarter campaigns are tricky things to pull off, most of the games funded through the system end up being busts, with a minority ending in a high-quality product. So, while I am a bit skeptical of the project, it’s also difficult not to get excited with what has been showed by the developers of The Dwarves, King Art Games.

Iron Harvest is an upcoming RTS set in a steampunk world, that according to King Art will favor tactics over action, with player freedom being a key word used in their marketing. So far, images and gameplay look fantastic, and the places King Art could take this game are genuinely intriguing. Hopefully they’ll be able to deliver on their promises come release date in 2018.
