[Top 10] LOL Best Support Champions For Winning Games

Welcome to the Top 10 Best Support Champions. There are champions that focus specifically on the healing teammates and many others are crowd control, and initiating however, the most important job as a support role is tasked with Providing Vision with Wards on the Map for the team. We’ll see what League players think are the best support champions to play in the current meta. 10. Leona https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mru6MnUx9OM Leona is my most played Support Champion. She's the kind of support that can play the lane both aggressively and defensively. She has a lot of CC, both single-targeted and AoE, and very tanky. Her presence is terrifying and her crowd control gives you an opportunity to keep enemies at safe distance from the carry. Her Q is a stun, her E is a solar image of her sword that can strike enemies champion, her ultimate is a long ranged AoE stun while enemies on the outside are slowed. Leona is very risky because you always have to dive deep into the enemy team during fights. But, every Leona players be like ”We dive at level 2”. Don’t you agree? But once you dive in, you can’t back out! You should aim to get to level six as soon as possible and look for ways to help your jungler gank other lanes or set up for a gank in the bottom lane to secure drake. Why Leona is a great support? • Very Tanky Even in Early Game • Can Pin Down Enemies Easily • Lots of Crowd Control 9. Thresh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwYffgdzPSU&t=10s Most supports are generally locked Tresh and will always be one of the best supports in League. He is very versatile. He can peel pretty well and he can both engage and disengage. It is not hard to see why. A kit that’s loaded with utility, he can comfortably make a big plays. Tresh’s gameplay is melee support. Thresh goal is to engage most of the time but, you should analyze if it’s good idea to engage or be the peel of your carries need. Always look to roam and help your mid and top lanes to ensure they have enough support from you to allow them to carry the game. His mini-stun and pull from Death Sentence, allied pulled in and potent slow or prison in the Box. Why is Thresh a great support? • Good engage and peel • Effective Crowd Control • Great escapability for others 8. Lulu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otHCubnGXB4 Lulu isn’t a Champion you see all the time, but she is strong, adorable and amazing. For me, lulu is extremely strong in lane vs Thresh the same thing holds true in lulu vs Leona/Taric/Blitzcrank. She’s a great poker/CC support. Lulu who will completely prevent you from doing anything in a team fight. Lulu’s gameplay is playing both offensive and defensive. You can bully many if the lower damage or melee champs in the lane. You can block their engagement especially if they are going after your carry. Lulu’s goal is to buffer adc and with Lulu’s W attack speed and E granting them picks to give them more damage on each attack while using Ult to keep them alive. Why is Lulu a great support? • Cute • Peel Champion • The Pokes are real 7. Janna https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY73otEaSLI Janna is one of the best supports to protect your carries and you’ll often see her on any solo climb. Here are some of the things that makes Janna a good, but also what makes her bad champion. Janna’s gameplay is the main focus should be protect your carry and help them in lane. The best way to play by being proactive in lane and not just still. She is good at poking and dealing damage and I recommend that you try to play aggressive whenever you can. Maximizing the support item by poking whenever you have stacks available will make you rich as well. Remember that your job should only be played as Utility Support. This means that you shouldn’t be the frontline. Make sure you watch your positioning. Why is Janna a great support? • Peel support • Scaling champion • Good poke in lane with W and Aery 6. Bard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMGcQFrjevk For me, I don’t think Bard is an easy champion to use. Bard is a high damage, high skill cap support with a ton of utility and playmaking capabilities. He is useful especially in late game when his cooldowns are low and his meep count massive. Bard’s gameplay is very fun because some items give bard movements speed plus collecting chimes and fast roam. Use your Journey to trap enemies like if you have Shaco/Heimerdinger/Maokai, use your portal in such a way that the exit is located in a trap-zone full of Shaco’s boxes, Heimer’s turrets, Maokai’s Sapling or your healing pads. Any ally with a bit of CC can also work wonders, Running low HP, and using your only escape options meaning you will be chased down. Why is Bard a great support? • Lane Poke • Great for setting up ganks with E, stun/slow from Q and ult • sustain thanks to W and passive 5. Morgana https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgdVm4Ti_XI Morgana is a great pick and one of my favorite champions .Her ability to shield an ally, grab players with Dark Binding, and pressure multiple with her Ultimate ensures that she’s not only a high damage threat, but also a Champion that can comfortably feed her carry. You can use flash+ultimate+Zhonya’s combo throughout the entire duration of the game to ensure good picks for your team, which will secure a clear path to victory. Morgana’s gameplay is the perfect counter to engage supports, such as Thresh, Leona, Rell and Alistar. Your Black shield allows you to turn around engages from those champions and slowly chip away at their health or throw a root and let teammates kill them. Why is Morgana a great support? • Strong CC • High Damage • Skill Immunity 2. Rell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae1iBRpUvzc Rell is the latest support and she has a great kit and it's one of our dreams as an engaged support player. A varied kit that can punish, but one with a fairly high skill ceiling, she's a solid draft that’s not exceptional, but above average. In team fights, use your E on allies that give the chance to stun as many opponents as possible. Then, you can look to follow up with your ultimate to give your team enough time to do damage to the opposing team. While going for offensive plays is overall a good tactic to win team fights, try to peel for allies if they’re being overwhelmed by assassins or backline divers and they’re forced to run. Keep a vision ward around the important objectives, such as Baron or Drake, to see if the enemy wants them so that you can collapse on them instead. Why is Rell a great support? • Strong AoE control • Great Initiator • Innate tankiness 1. Blitzcrank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fZ1qtHuZJ0 Blitzcrank is one of the most accessible support Champions in the game. A simple and straightforward kit, and easy to use as long as you land his Rocket Grab, everything else is pretty much button mash while your ADC does all the work. Don’t be afraid to try to use the Rocket Grab even if you think it will not work. If it works, it’s a kill. Blitzcrank is a really strong pick against immobile champions like Twitch, Miss Fortune, Jhin, Jinx, Kog'maw and Ashe. The enemy team will always try to dodge your hook. Just go straight for them and E then grab. Why is Blitzcrank a great support? • Easy to use a combo • Has a great support abilities • Easy to engage with enemies That’s our top 10 LOL Best Support Champions.
