  • Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU Q8400 @ 2.66Ghz
  • RAM: 4GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT (2800mb memory)

I can play most games fine at normal settings. Watching Ultra HD 4k videos on youtube is laggy.

This computer is like 3 or 4 years old now.

Yours?

What a handy little program, thanks for that MJuarbe.

Here are my main components, I am definitely planning on upgrading in the near future.

CPU

  • AMD Phenom II X6 1050T

RAM

  • 4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard

  • Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-970A-UD3 (Socket M2)

Graphics

  • 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner)

Storage

  • 465GB Seagate ST3500514NS ATA Device (SATA)

If you guys could upgrade, what would you go with? I recently build someone an Intel/Nvidia rig and it was blazing fast. Definitely leaning toward that right now unless anyone has anything interesting to say about AMD/ATI.

First thing i would do is upgrade your RAM to at least 8GB if you can do 16GB great but most games now a days say 8GB 16GB is more for multitasking while gaming.

Next thing is to upgrade you graphics card to a Radeon R9

Your motherboard can support the newest FX series CPU but you might need a BIOS upgrade. your CPU is not bad.

Thanks for the advice. I'm actually going to be building a new rig from the ground up I'm just debating whether I will stick with AMD/ATI or if I will migrate over. Like I said the Intel/Nvidia rig I pieced together was so fast that it might be hard to deny myself that luxury. Then again, I have heard a lot of good things about the R9's and wouldn't mind saving a few dollars if performance would be similar.

I slapped an i7-4790 and a Zotac GeForce GTX 980 AMP Edition 4GB GDDR5 into an MSI Z97 GAMING 7. Of course I threw a couple SSD's in there and a TB @ 7,200rpm for storage. I used the Corsair CPU cooler and I believe the PSU was a Thermaltake. The guys budget was $2,500 so obviously I was envious of the finished product. :P

i dont blame you im a bit envious myself. i mean you can probably build a 4k rig for under $1000 but the 4K is for games like League fo legends and stuff. but if you have the money go with intel and GeForce

4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 531MHz
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6470M

Pretty entry-level for a primitive laptop. Cannot play more recent games though... FF14 works well somehow, DW6 and DMC4 are smooth, DOTA 2 and LoL looks as it should on high settings... I'm thinking of building a rig and solely use this lappy for work. Lol.

That's what I'm thinking. Have you noticed how Nvidia cards don't require v-sync in order to provide smooth gameplay? Whereas Radeons tend to require it? I think that's what I like most about Nvidia.

I am currently having PC configurated with Intel 17 processor and the Nvidia graphics 2.5g and the system is also connected with the Epson wireless printer. From past few days, the printer is not printing and the system is also not supporting the graphics. The Epson printer error code 031008 has to be fixed.
