[Top 5] SWTOR Best Armor for Jedi Guardian

Best Armor for Jedi Guardian
Durasteel isn't just for Bounty Hunters

When one thinks of anything Star Wars related, the first thing that comes to mind, is of course the Jedi themselves. These lightsaber-wielding, cloak-toting mystics captivate the minds of fans everywhere. So, to be a Jedi in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, you’ll need to truly look the part. Here are some of the best armor sets currently available in the game that will help you achieve that perfect Jedi Guardian look.

5. Remnant Underworld Knight

As seen worn by the Jedi Guardian in the Knights of the Fallen Empire trailer for SWTOR, this armor is inspired by the canon Knight.

  • There are two versions of this chestpiece, a hooded and unhooded version
  • This set has a more unique helm with it, that comes up around the neck and then over the forehead
  • All parts of this set are bound to legacy! This means you can swap it around to different characters in your family tree

How to acquire: This set is acquired by turning in Alliance Artifact Crates to Sana-Rae at the Odessen headquarters (post Chapter 9 of Knights of the Fallen Empire as a prerequisite). The roll is random on what armor you get from opening the crate, so you may have to grind a lot of heroics before you get it. The best part? It’s practically free! In fact, you tend to make money while opening these crates and doing the heroics to earn them!

4. Ambitious Warrior

A favorite among all classes, this set is a little more revealing, but looks like it allows for a lot more freedom of movement.

  • For male characters, the midsection region of this armor set is covered in wrappings. Only the female characters get this revealing look. If this CM version is out of your price range, there are plenty of look-alike armors (like the Aspiring Knight) that give you the same look but can be crafted!
  • A simple armor set that can be seen on NPCs on Tython or Coruscant -- this set blends in with the world for an immersive experience

How to acquire: Currently this set is not available on the Cartel Market for direct purchase, but you can still find this set on the GTN for around 25 million in-game credits.

3. Resolute Guardian

While the Consular is known for their cloaks, and the same can also be said for the Guardian, it’s also a staple of the class to be heavily armored. This set is perfect for that cloaked look, while still providing some heavy protection against your attackers.

  • This is the iconic armor from the character creation screen when selecting a Jedi Knight!
  • While this set is not legacy bound, there are many others that look quite similar to this design that are (Jedi Stormguard), which can be found at the Republic-side Adaptive Armor Fleet vendor. Check them out if this particular version is out of your price range!

How to acquire: This set can be bought for 1,000 Cartel Coins on the Cartel Market. You can also find it on the GTN for around 30 million in-game credits.

2. Exiled Knight

This set heralded in the meme of Don the Exiled Knight, during a promotion for this set’s release that made it seem like the model was in fact, a man named Don. Memes aside, this set is perfect for any Jedi who is looking for a tighter fit, but doesn’t want to be too revealing.

  • The Exiled Knight set has a very ‘Clone Wars Kenobi’ sort of feeling to it, with its one shoulder pad and thigh length robes
  • This set is fully dyeable, and even looks fantastic as is

How to acquire: This set is available on the Cartel Market currently for 1,000 Cartel Coins. You can also find this set on the GTN for around 11 million in-game credits, depending on availability and which server you call home.

1. Jedi Knight Revan

Anyone looks amazing in this set. Based on the Jedi Knight armor worn by Revan in Knights of the Old Republic, this set has been long awaited by fans.

  • Comes with two chest pieces: a hooded version, and unhooded version. It also comes with a set of pants, and a set of lower robes, so you can mix and match pieces to create your ideal look!
  • The helmet of this Revan set has a visor that changes color with your equipped crystal! No other armor set in the game has a feature like this

How to acquire: Since this set is fairly new, it is available on the Cartel Market for either 2,600 Cartel Coins or for 4,800 Cartel Coins in the Prodigal Knight Bundle, which includes the Redeemed Revan’s Lightsaber and the armor set.
