It’s hard to hate on Pikachu, especially since he’s so adorable. What makes Pikachu a difficult opponent is that he’s hard to dodge and can rack up combos in no time. Pikachu is small, but if you’re fast and do damage, it’s easy to see why he’s S-Tier.

Next up is Palutena. The jack-of-all-trades. Not only can she fly, but she can teleport and fire unpredictable projectiles. You might see people hating on her, but that’s only because she’s so good. That’s what’s expected of a goddess, right?

• Edgeguards reliably with neutral air
• Punishes recoveries with low risk
• Standing grab is one of the fastest in the game
• Frames allow her to contest opponents in all kinds of situations

Bet you saw the number one spot cooooomin’. Joker has stolen another show. Sure, Joker is considered ‘new’ compared to the other characters, but he’s been making rounds at multiple Smash tournaments. Some elite gamers favor him for a reason, like MkLeo.

• Arsene does crazy amounts of damage. If he’s summoned, you better run
• Joker is mobile while also able to deal decent damage in melee/long range
