[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Nomad Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Nomad Loadouts in R6 Siege
The best loadouts for one of Rainbow Six Siege’s best anti-roam operators in the game’s Year 7 Season 4.2

When Nomad is present in the attacking team, it will be quite hard to take them by surprise, and if you’re a defender, you shouldn’t even attempt to score kills from a run out. That’s because Nomad’s special gadget, the Airjab Launcher, shoots an adhesive repulsion device that will knock down defenders that are caught within its area of effect.

Her Airjab Launcher can shoot three of these devices, and usually, those three are enough to cover the usual run out and flanking spots. But Nomad doesn’t only excel in neutralizing roamers. She’s also very well equipped to capitalize on the opportunity that her special gadget provides.

5. ARX200 with Scope 2.0x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser + Stun Grenade

The ARX200 assault rifle may not be Nomad’s most popular primary weapon, but players really shouldn’t sleep on it. Sure, its magazine capacity leaves much to be desired, and is the primary reason that turns off Nomad players from using it. However, the ARX200 boasts higher damage than Nomad’s other choice for a primary weapon. It also has better recoil than the AK-74M, and its rate of fire is slightly faster. That just means that the ARX200 is slightly harder to use due to its small magazine capacity, but it’s still a very solid weapon for Nomad.

And with the compensator on its barrel attachment, its recoil will be very easy to control, as you can see from the recoil test screenshot below. The compensator specializes in reducing the size of the weapon’s recoil diamond, and the smaller the weapon’s recoil diamond is, the tendency for horizontal and random recoil fom all directions will be lower. This could provide Nomad with a more stable shooting experience, especially when emptying a whole clip from the ARX200. As for the secondary weapon, the suppressed PRB92 will allow Nomad to silently shoot defender gadgets, thus reducing the chances of alerting enemies in the process.

Excels in:

  • Having a lower chance for horizontal and random recoil from all directions with the ARX200 due to the compensator barrel attachment
  • Maintaining a good amount of vertical recoil control on the ARX200 due to the vertical grip attachment
  • Providing Nomad with a high level of zoom and clear view of the surroundings with the scope 2.0x’s frame that doesn’t take up a lot of screen space
  • Having the ability to shoot defender gadgets with less chance of alerting them with the use of the suppressed PRB92 handgun
  • Blinding and deafening enemies before a push using the three stun grenades in Nomad’s generic gadget slot

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - ARX200 with Scope 2.0x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Stun Grenade

4. AK-74M with Scope 2.0x and Flash Hider + PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser + Breach Charge

When it comes to controlling the recoil of weapons, the flash hider is the go-to barrel attachment for many players. That’s because it greatly reduces the vertical recoil of weapons, and for a lot of players, that gives them the best feel for the weapon. With the vertical recoil weakened, the horizontal and random recoil from all directions could also be easier to control. But the flash hider also provides another benefit. It removes the muzzle flash of weapons, therefore, reducing the risk of the player giving away her position while she’s shooting.

With the removal of the AK-74M's muzzle flash, Nomad also will not experience her vision being blurred by it, and that could lead to better aiming for the player. The AK-74M has a huge magazine capacity and has a manageable recoil so it’s great for long-sprays. For that, the scope 2.0x is a really great sight. It will provide Nomad with a good balance between zoom levels and peripheral view. With this loadout setup, the Nomad player will be able to see  her enemies bigger on her screen while also not compromising a lot in terms of peripheral view.

Excels in:

  • Weakening the vertical recoil of the AK-74M assault rifle with the use of the flash hider barrel attachment
  • Providing Nomad with a great balance between high zoom level and peripheral view through the scope 2.0x
  • The AK-74M's huge magazine capacity and manageable recoil makes it a great weapon for suppressive fire
  • Nomad having the ability to silently shoot defender gadgets like cameras and traps with the use of the suppressed PRB92 handgun
  • Opening entry holes on unreinforced holes or destroying portions of the wooden floor above objective spots with the use of the three breach charges

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-74M with Scope 2.0x and Flash Hider
  • Secondary weapon - PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Breach Charge

3. ARX200 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + .44 Mag Semi Auto + Stun Grenade

This is the best loadout for Nomad players who prefer the ARX200 assault rifle as their primary. That’s because the ARX200 in this loadout setup will have the suppressor as its barrel attachment. With the suppressor, Nomad will be able to shoot her enemies without them immediately knowing where she’s shooting from. That’s because it will hide the ARX200’s directional threat indicator and muzzle flash. It will also greatly reduce the gunshot sound of the assault rifle, making it even harder for enemies to know where Nomad is.

So with this loadout setup, Nomad’s enemies will be slower to react, be that for a counter attack or to find cover. The suppressor doesn’t add any recoil control benefits to the weapon, but Nomad players shouldn’t worry because the weapon has a manageable stock recoil, and with a vertical grip providing more vertical recoil control, its overall recoil shouldn’t be a problem. And since Nomad will be able to silently shoot defender gadgets with the ARX200, she can go for full offensive power on her secondary weapon which the .44 Mag Semi Auto will provide.

Excels in:

  • Making enemies slower to react with the suppressor hiding the ARX200’s directional threat indicator and muzzle flash
  • Making it harder for enemies to know where Nomad is shooting from with the suppressor greatly reducing the gunshot sound of the ARX200
  • Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on the ARX200 with the use of the vertical grip attachment
  • Having a secondary weapon with high stopping power and high level of zoom in the .44 Mag Semi Auto handgun
  • Blinding and deafening enemies using the three stun grenades in Nomad’s generic gadget slot

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - ARX200 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - .44 Mag Semi Auto
  • Generic gadget - Stun Grenade

2. AK-74M with Scope 2.0x and Compensator + PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser + Breach Charge

When it comes to having the best recoil control possible on Nomad’s AK-74M, this loadout is the best. That’s right, the AK-74M is one of those weapons that has a more stable recoil with a compensator than with a flash hider. That’s because the AK-74M has a wide recoil diamond starting from the fourth shot, and that means more horizontal recoil. The great thing is, the compensator barrel attachment reduces the size of a weapon’s recoil diamond, therefore, reducing its propensity for horizontal or random recoil from all directions.

And that is why this loadout setup provides the best recoil control on the AK-74M. With its propensity for horizontal and random recoil from all directions reduced, shooting with it will feel much more stable, especially when it comes to longer bursts, which the AK-74M is great at with its huge magazine capacity. The suppressed PRB92 in this loadout setup will allow Nomad to shoot defender gadgets without alerting the enemies, and the breach charges as her generic gadget will allow her to open a breach on unreinforced walls or perform a vertical play when the objective spot is below a wooden floor.

Excels in:

  • Providing Nomad with the best stability on her AK-74M with the compensator barrel attachment reducing its horizontal recoil
  • The scope 2.0x will be providing Nomad with a really good amount of zoom on her AK-74M without compromising a lot on peripheral view
  • Being able to shoot defender gadgets such as CCTV cameras with less chance of giving away your position with the use of the suppressed PRB92 handgun
  • Having a tight hip fire on the suppressed PRB92 handgun due to the laser attachment
  • Being able to perform vertical plays or opening a breach on an unreinforced wall with the use of the breach charges

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-74M with Scope 2.0x and Compensator
  • Secondary weapon - PRB92 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Breach Charge

1. AK-74M with Scope 2.0x and Suppressor + .44 Mag Semi Auto + Stun Grenade

This is the best loadout setup Nomad because the AK-74M is in general much easier to use than the ARX200 due to its huge magazine capacity. With forty bullets in one clip, the player is less likely to have to reload in the middle of a gunfight or a high traffic situation. And for the AK-74M assault rifle, the suppressor is the best attachment. That’s because it will provide Nomad with great stealth benefits and even though it doesn’t add any recoil control on the weapon, the AK-74M's stock recoil is manageable enough that the player wouldn’t suffer for it.

Just like with the ARX200, the suppressor on Nomad’s AK-74M will remove the weapon’s directional threat indicator and muzzle flash, as well as greatly silence its gunshots. Combined with the AK-74M's huge magazine capacity, Nomad will be able to lay down long suppressive fire without her announcing to the enemies where she’s shooting from. This will make enemies slower to take action and could end up confusing them a lot. Add that to the blinding and deafening effects from the three stun grenades and a push with Nomad who has this setup will be really hard to stop.

Excels in:

  • Laying down suppressive fire without providing enemies with a directional threat indicator of where Nomad is shooting from
  • Removal of the AK-74M's muzzle flash reduces the visual cues that enemies could see when Nomad is shooting
  • Making it harder for enemies to know where Nomad is shooting from with the suppressor greatly silencing the AK-74M's gunshots
  • Having a secondary weapon with devastating firepower and high-level of zoom in the .44 Mag Semi Auto pistol
  • Being able to reduce the enemies’ ability to see and hear with the use of the three stun grenades in Nomad’s arsenal

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AK-74M with Scope 2.0x and Suppressor
  • Secondary weapon - .44 Mag Semi Auto
  • Generic gadget - Stun Grenade
