R6 Siege Top 15 Best Attackers Ranked
The fifteen best attackers that will enhance your chances of winning in Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 8 Season 2.3

15. IQ (Intel, Support)

IQ is one of the best operators that you can use in competitive matches, yet she’s also quite underrated, especially her special gadget, the Electronics Detector. That’s mostly because when the Electronics Detector is active, IQ will only be able to use her P12 handgun for shooting opponents or their gadgets, and her view would be partially obstructed with the blue screen from her Electronics Detector. So most players feel vulnerable when they’re using IQ’s Electronics Detector. However, when used in a smart way, especially with a coordinated team, IQ’s Electronics Detector brings a lot to the table.

That’s because with her Electronics Detector, IQ will be able to detect defender electronic gadgets within a twenty-meter range. This allows her to ping those electronic gadgets for her whole team to see, and that allows them to be careful of those gadgets or disable them themselves. This makes IQ one of the best counters to Kapkan, Echo, Valkyrie, and others, whose electronic gadgets are more effective when they’re hidden. And since the Electronics Detector detects these gadgets in real time, IQ is also incredibly powerful against Pulse and Vigil.

What Makes IQ a Great Attacker:

  • Through her Electronics Detector, she’s able to detect enemy electronic devices within the distance of twenty meters, and they’re detected in real-time
  • She’s a great counter to Pulse and Vigil as they can be detected by her in real-time while they’re using their special gadgets as they are made of electronics
  • IQ is able to ping the enemy electronic gadgets she has detected through unbreakable surfaces like concrete walls or floors and it’s going to be visible to the whole attacking team
  • With her suppressed P12 handgun, she can silently disable the enemy electronic gadgets she has detected through breakable surfaces
  • She can bring two claymores per round and they’re perfect for protecting her back from roamers and run outs while she’s scanning for defender electronic gadgets
  • The primary weapons available to her like the 552 Commando and the Aug A2 are excellent weapons with high damage, low recoil, and are compatible to high-powered scopes

Choose IQ if:

  • There is a Kapkan, Valkyrie, or Echo, in the defending team, as with IQ, their gadgets will be easily exposed to the attacking team
  • If you’ve detected that there’s a Pulse or Vigil in the defending team, as IQ will be able to track their movements in real-time when they’re using their special gadgets
  • If you want to play a great intel gatherer that also excels in disabling enemy electronic gadgets, as IQ’s Electronics Detector will allow her to do that

14. Hibana (Breach, Front Line)

Like IQ above, Hibana is also quite an underrated operator because she’s oftentimes overshadowed by Ace or Thermite. Her special gadget, the X-Kairos Launcher, is also a bit more complicated to use than Ace and Thermite’s special gadgets. However, there are things that Hibana can do better than Thermite and Ace, especially now that she has more control over the number of X-Kairos pellets that her launcher will deploy. With the rework on her X-Kairos special gadget, Hibana can now choose between six, four, or two X-Kairos pellet deployment.

Since she has a total of eighteen X-Kairos pellets, being able to divide their deployment numbers means that she can reserve more pellets for more breaching, especially since she doesn’t always need to deploy six X-Kairos pellets at a time. For example, a reinforced hatch only needs four to be breached, and unreinforced ones or Castle’s Armor Panels only takes two. Knowing how many X-Kairos pellets are needed to destroy breakable surfaces in the game is the key to playing Hibana to her full potential. And aside from her hard breaching capabilities, she also has a lot of offensive power.

What Makes Hibana a Great Attacker:

  • Hibana can now divide her X-Kairos pellet deployment into groups of six, four, or two, and that greatly increases the number of breakable surfaces that she can breach
  • Hibana can deploy her X-Kairos pellets from long distances, making her a very versatile operator and can protect herself while she’s performing hard breaching
  • She now has access to the bearing 9 machine pistol as one of her secondary weapons and that greatly increases her offensive capabilities
  • Her Type-89 assault rifle is an excellent weapon that can make quick work of enemies due to its high damage and very fast rate for fire
  • She can bring two breach charges per round and they greatly increase her vertical play capabilities as they will allow her to destroy large portions of the wooden floor above the objective spot
  • Her 3-speed rating allows her to get from one place to another quite fast and that’s important for her as she usually performs the vertical play role

Choose Hibana if:

  • The objective spot is on a lower floor and being able to breach the hatches above it will greatly enhance your team’s chances of winning the round
  • You want to play a hard breacher that can deploy her hard breach device from a distance and has good control over the number of hard breach devices she’s going to use
  • You want to play an operator which can really help the team a lot with her hard breaching capabilities, but also has a lot of offensive power

13. Sens (Support, Map Control)

It’s been quite a while since Sens joined Team Rainbow but they’re still relatively new to the game. Sens brings a lot to the table because team play is a really huge factor in winning in Siege, and Sens’ special gadget was really made with team play in mind. If you think that smoke grenades are troublesome to deal with, Sens’ R.O.U, Projector Systems is even more challenging. That’s because it provides a much larger cover than regular smoke grenades, and the cover that they make is basically a wall of light

That means that the cover that the R.O.U. Projector Systems provide is much wider, and Sens has three of them. The R.O.U. Projector Systems’ deployment method is also quite versatile as Sens can roll it on the floor and it even bounces off walls. So if the Sens player is good at it, they can deploy it safely behind cover with no problem. As for their offensive prowess, Sens has access to the POF-9 assault rifle which is the newest gun in Siege, and it’s a powerful weapon because of its high damage, very manageable recoil, compatibility with many attachments, and most importantly, its magazine capacity is huge.

What Makes Sens a Great Attacker:

  • Through their R.O.U. Projector System, Sens is able to create a lot of cover for the attacking team’s push or defuser plant attempt
  • Since it’s too risky to be near Sens’ R.O.U. Projector System and a lot of defenders get surprised by it, it can also serve as a distraction and sometimes, even an area-denial device
  • Sens also has access to the gonne-6 hand cannon which is great for disabling a pesky bulletproof defender gadget like a Banshee or an Evil Eye
  • Sens’ gonne-6 hand cannon can also be used for destroying an unreinforced hatch which can serve as an entry point for Sens and her teammates
  • Sens’s POF-9 assault rifle is an excellent weapon due to its very manageable recoil, decent damage, wide variety of attachments, and huge magazine capacity
  • Sens also has access to the 417 marksman rifle which is a great weapon due to it excelling at any range, and for close range engagements, it has a very tight hip fire

Choose Sens if:

  • You’re in an organized team and you and your team members are planning to rush. That’s because Sens’ special gadget is great for distraction and providing cover.
  • If you want to play an operator that can provide a lot of cover for your team, especially during pushing or attempts to plant the defuser
  • You want to play an attacker that is not only great for team play but also has great offensive capabilities due to the weapons available to them

12. Thatcher (Anti-Gadget, Support)

If Thatcher isn’t usually banned in competitive matches, he’d rank much higher in this list. And while he’s still the most banned operator in the game, there is no denying that there is a better likelihood of him being available in a competitive match than a year or so ago, and when he’s available, players should definitely take advantage of that opportunity and pick him. That’s because in most cases, Thatcher will be able to make attacking much easier, since his special gadget, the EMP Grenade, can disable enemy electronic gadgets in a wide radius.

This makes him the best hard breach enabler since he can easily disable Bandit’s Shock Wires, Mute’s Signal Jammers, or Kaid’s Electroclaws, even if the latter were deployed on tricky spots. And with attackers being able to perform hard breaching, especially when the objective spot has a wall that connects to the outside, attacking will be a lot more convenient, as the attacking team can keep spraying from the outside instead of the usually tighter paths of attack that can make them more vulnerable.

What Makes Thatcher a Great Attacker:

  • Through his three EMP Grenades, Thatcher is the best at enabling hard breaching, as he can easily disable the defenders’ hard breach preventing devices
  • Even when enemies do not have hard breach preventing devices, Thatcher will still be useful as most gadgets in the game are made of electronics
  • Thatcher’s EMP Grenades can be thrown from a distance and he can mix up their timing, so even when a defender knows how to “Bandit trick”, it could be hard when there’s a Thatcher
  • Thatcher has access to two claymores per round and he can use that to protect him and his teammates from run outs while they’re performing hard breaching
  • Thatcher has access to two very powerful assault rifles in the AR33 and the L85A2, both of which possesses high damage, manageable recoil, and have a wide variety of attachments
  • To players who prefer using shotguns as their primary weapon, the M590A1 is also available to Thatcher, and it’s a shotgun that packs one hell of a punch

Choose Thatcher if:

  • He’s not banned and the objective spot has a wall that connects to the outside, because if the attackers breach that wall, it’ll be much more convenient for them to attack
  • You’ve discovered the identities of the defenders you’re going against and most of them have electronics as their special gadgets
  • You want to use an operator that doesn’t only excel at hard breach enabling, but also in clearing the room after hard breaching

Best Loadout for Thatcher:

https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/rainbow-6-siege-best-thatcher-load...

11. Ash (Breach, Front Line)

Throughout the years, Ash has been able to remain as one of the best attackers, and that’s obviously due to her offensive capabilities. She’s quite easy to use, but that doesn’t mean that she’s beginner-only operator. When used by an experienced player, her full potential can be reached, and that can be quite scary. That’s because Ash has a 3-speed rating which allows her to move from one place to another quite quickly and that’s great for avoiding shots as well as room clearing. On top of her speed, Ash brings a lot of heavy firepower through her weapons and special gadget.

So basically, Ash has the combination of speed and firepower, and that’s a very deadly combination in Siege. Her special gadget, the Breaching Round, allows her to punch huge holes on breakable surfaces such as unreinforced walls and hatches. Of course, it will also destroy Castle’s Armor Panels, as well as any bulletproof defender gadget such as deployable shields, or even Maestro’s Evil Eyes. As for her weapons, Ash can choose between the G36C and the R4-C assault rifles, and both of them inflict a good amount of damage per shot, has a very controllable recoil, and overall quite easy to use.

What Makes Ash a Great Attacker:

  • Her 3-speed rating allows her to move quickly and go from one place to another in an instant, which is great for hunting opponents as well as evading them
  • Her Breaching Rounds are great for creating entry holes on unreinforced walls and hatches, and Ash can use that to catch enemies by surprise during a rush
  • Her Breaching Rounds can also be used for disabling pesky defender bulletproof gadgets such as deployable shields, Melusi’s Banshees, or Maestro’s Evil Eyes
  • Ash’s G36C assault rifle is really good because of its high damage, very manageable recoil, decent magazine capacity, and it can even be equipped with a scope 1.5x
  • Ash’s R4-C assault rifle is also really good because it inflicts high damage per shot, has a manageable recoil, and its rate of fire is fast
  • Ash can bring two claymores per round which is great protection against roamers, and she can also switch to the breach charges which are great for vertical plays

Choose Ash if:

  • You excel with an aggressive playstyle, as Ash’s Breaching Rounds are one of the best utilities for rushing, and Ash’s 3 speed will be great for you
  • You want to play an operator who has high offensive capabilities as well as the speed that makes her even more capable of utilizing her offensive capabilities
  • You want to play a highly versatile operator that can perform many roles, and not just for rushing or an aggressively playstyle

Best Loadout for Ash:

https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/rainbow-6-siege-best-ash-loadouts

10. Lion (Intel, Map Control)

Lion is in this list because he’s easily the most versatile operator in the game. He excels regardless of the map or situation, and the available choices for his primary weapon, secondary weapon, as well as his generic gadgets, allow him to adjust throughout the match. His special gadget, the EE-ONE-D, is a great intel gathering utility which also stops enemies in their tracks and ruins their momentum. All of this makes Lion a very viable operator to use in ranked. Simply put, a player just can’t go wrong by picking Lion, even when they’re not that experienced in playing him.

That’s because the effects of Lion’s EE-ONE-D is global, so no matter where he is in the map, it’ll have an effect on the enemies. And that effect is activating a tracker that will last for several seconds to defenders who refuse to stop moving during an EE-ONE-D scan. Of course, most defenders will choose not to move while an EE-ONE-D scan is on-going, but that also means that for a few seconds, attackers can gain ground and position themselves while most defenders are stuck in one place. As for his weapons, Thatcher can choose between an assault rifle, a marksman rifle, and a shotgun, and this allows him to excel at any range.

What Makes Lion a Great Attacker:

  • The effects of Lion’s EE-ONE-D scans are global, so even if he’s far away from them, it will affect his enemies
  • The EE-ONE D scan is great for gathering intel on enemy positions as those who are caught in the scan will have a tracker placed on them for several seconds
  • One way to avoid being pinged by Lion’s EE-ONE-D is to completely stop moving, but while being still for a few seconds, the attackers will be able to move freely
  • Lion’s assault rifle, the V308, is easily one of the best guns in the game due to its high damage, compatibility with high-powered scopes, manageable recoil, and huge magazine capacity
  • Lion is one of the few operators in the game that has access to three choices for his primary weapon, three choices for his secondary weapon, and three choices for his secondary gadget
  • Due to the wide variety of weapons, attachments, and utility choices available to him, Lion is very versatile and can adjust to almost all situations and surroundings

Choose Lion if:

  • You want to play an operator who is powerful all around due to him being highly versatile as there’s a wide variety of choices for his weapons and utilities
  • You're in an organized team and your team wants to rush and play aggressively. That’s because the EE-ONE-D scans are great for rushing.
  • You want to play an operator with an amazing assault rifle in the V308, as this weapon is almost perfect due to its high damage, low recoil, variety of attachments, and very sizable magazine capacity

Best Loadout for Lion:

https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/rainbow-6-siege-best-lion-loadouts

9. Finka (Front Line, Support)

Like Lion above, the effects of Finka’s special gadget, the Adrenal Surge, are global. So no matter where she is on the map, whether she’s near or far away from her teammates, it will affect them. And those effects have a lot of impact in the match. Per activation of the Adrenal Surge, all members of the attacking team will gain twenty health points, have concussion effects removed, and any attacker including Finka who are in a down-but-not-out state, will get revived. Just these effects alone are already powerful, but there’s a lot more.

While the Adrenal Surge is active, all attackers will be able to walk over barbed wires faster than normal, have stronger resistance to tinnitus from explosions or flash grenades, have stronger resistance to the effects of Fenrir’s Dread mines and the blind effects from stun grenades or Ying’s Candelas, as well as faster reload times. Overall, this is why Finka is such a powerful operator. Because she has a very high impact on her teammates, and while she’s great at providing support and buffs, her offensive capabilities are also nothing to sneeze at.

What Makes Finka a Great Attacker:

  • She’s able to provide a wide variety of buffs to the whole attacking team with the use of her Adrenal Surge and she can activate it three times
  • Each activation of Finka’s Adrenal Surge will add twenty health points to all attackers, remove concussion effects, and revive any attacker who’s in a down-but-not-out state
  • The effects of Finka’s Adrenal Surge is global, so even if she’s far away from her teammates, she’ll be able to provide support for them
  • Her Spear .308 assault rifle is a great weapon due to its high damage, very manageable recoil, fast rate of fire, and compatibility to high-powered scopes
  • Finka’s SASG-12 shotgun is one of the most powerful shotguns in the game, it even kind of has an integrated suppressor which is great for fragging opponents silently
  • Finka also has access to the gonne-6 hand cannon which she can use to disable one pesky bulletproof defender gadget like deployable shields, bulletproof cameras, Evil Eyes, etc

Choose Finka if:

  • You want to play an operator that is highly versatile and can excel regardless of the map or the situation
  • You want to play an attacker that can provide a lot of support to her teammates, and Finka can do that really well with her Adrenal Surge
  • You want to play an operator that doesn’t only excel at supporting teammates, but also one that has great offensive capabilities

Best Loadout for Finka:

https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/rainbow-6-siege-finka-loadouts

8. Fuze (Anti-Gadget)

When the objective spot is on a lower story and it has a lot of wooden floors above it, the main concern of the defenders is Fuze. That’s because if attackers have a Fuze, the situation in the objective spot can be very sticky for the defenders. Because Fuze has four Cluster Charges, and each of them releases five sub-grenades to the other side of the breakable surface that they’ve been deployed to. So if Fuze does that to the wooden floor above the objective spot, he can rain down explosives after explosives on the defenders inside, either damaging them or forcibly displacing them from their entrenched positions.

This type of vertical attack usually causes a lot of panic to the defenders in the objective spot, and panic leads to mistakes. A lot of times, while the defenders are running from Fuze’s Cluster Charges, they become susceptible to gunshots from the other attackers, as they are forced to leave their hiding spots. Not only that, but the rain of explosives usually disables a lot of defender gadgets, even though they're bulletproof. That’s why Fuze has such a huge presence in every match he’s in, and it’s also why he’s an operator that you’ll usually encounter in competitive matches.

What Makes Fuze a Great Attacker:

  • If the objective spot is below a wooden floor, Fuze can rain down explosives after explosives on the objective spot with the use of his four Cluster Charges
  • His Cluster Charges can also now be deployed on reinforced walls and hatches, which gives the Fuze player a lot of versatility and options on how to use the Cluster Charges
  • Since he has four Cluster Charges and each of them can release five sub-grenades, it causes a lot of explosions and that usually disables a lot of defender utilities
  • Even one sub-grenade from a Cluster Charge is enough to kill an operator, so the Cluster Charges are great for forcing defenders out of their hiding spots or entrenched positions
  • Fuze can bring two hard breach charges per round and that makes him an even greater vertical attacker as he will be able to breach reinforced hatches above the objective spot
  • Fuze has three choices for his primary weapon, two choices for his secondary weapon, and three choices for his generic gadget, and the wide variety of choices gives him a lot of versatility

Choose Fuze if:

  • The objective spot is at a lower floor, which makes it great for a vertical attack, and through his Cluster Charges, Fuze can rain down explosives after explosives onto the objective spot
  • You want to play an operator who can destroy a lot of defender utilities, and Fuze can definitely do that through the use of his Cluster Charges
  • You want to cause a lot of panic to the defenders and forcibly disperse them from their hiding spots, because Fuze Cluster charges excels at doing that

Best Loadout for Fuze:

https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/rainbow-6-siege-best-fuze-loadouts

7. Ace (Breach, Anti-Gadget)

Like Fuze above, Ace also has a high impact in every match he’s in, because his special gadget, the S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breacher, is one of the best hard breach utilities in the game. Like Hibana’s X-Kairos, they can be deployed from a distance, allowing Ace to perform hard breaching more safely. Like Thermite’s Exothermic Charges, Ace’s S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breachers also open up huge effin’ holes on reinforced walls. On top of that, Ace has three of them. That makes him a very versatile and reliable hard breacher who has a very important role in competitive matches.

Since he has three S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breachers, what usually happens is that he uses two of them to breach a reinforced wall connecting the objective spot to the outside, and then he uses the remaining one to breach a reinforced hatch. As for his offensive capabilities, Ace has a choice between the AK-12 assault rifle and the M1014 shotgun for his primary weapon, and both of them are great weapons. Obviously, the AK-12 trumps the M1014 when it comes to medium to long-range shooting, but if the player excels with shotguns, the M1014 is a very powerful one.

What Makes Ace a Great Attacker:

  • His hard breaching capability is strong and versatile since he can deploy his S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breacher from a distance and he has three of them
  • Even one S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breacher is enough to breach a hole on a reinforced wall that is big enough for an operator to get through
  • Since he has three S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breachers, he can just use two of them for breaching reinforced walls and reserve the remaining one for a reinforced hatch
  • When breaching, the S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breacher produces a lot of noise which can also serve as a distraction while the other attackers are flanking
  • Ace can bring two claymores in the round and he can use that to protect himself and his teammates while performing a hard breach
  • Ace’s AK-12 is a powerful weapon due to its high damage, manageable recoil, fast rate of fire, as well as its compatibility with a wide variety of attachments

Choose Ace if:

  • The objective spot has a wall that connects the objective spot and the outside, because if that wall is breached, the attackers’ chances of winning will greatly increase
  • There are more than one reinforced hatches above the objective spot, and since Ace has three S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breachers, he can use that to harass defenders from above
  • You want to play an operator that is really good for hard breaching in general and is also great when it comes to vertical play, as Ace can use his breach charges to destroy the wooden floor above the objective spot

Best Loadout for Ace:

https://www.gamersdecide.com/articles/rainbow-6-siege-best-ace-loadouts

6. Osa (Intel, Support)

Osa is easily one of the most tactical attackers in the game. She can be quite hard to use because despite her having a bulletproof shield, she can be quite vulnerable, especially from explosions. That’s because when it’s deployed to the ground or attached to windows, Osa’s Clear Shield will be breakable from explosions. It’s fine when she’s still holding it, however, since her Clear Shield isn’t that big, she’s susceptible to gunshots from the sides. With that said, if the one playing Osa is experienced at using her and knows her strengths and weaknesses, she can really contribute a lot to the team.

As mentioned before, her Clear Shield will not break from explosions when she’s still holding it, so she can use it to tank bullets while also gathering intel on enemy positions. This usually works well when Osa is in an organized team as the other attackers can synchronize their movements better with Osa leading the way. For defuser planting, once she knows that the defenders have used up their explosives, she can deploy her Clear Shield to the ground and plant the defuser behind it. She can even melee the Clear Shield to make it opaque, and that will make defenders unsure whether Osa is still behind it or not.

What Makes Osa a Great Attacker:

  • When she’s still holding it, her Clear Shield will not break from impact grenades, and she can use that to keep scouting for enemy positions and providing intel to her teammates
  • Once deployed, the only way to destroy her Clear Shield is through explosives or by shooting the red canister underneath its back side, so Osa can use it to block a window
  • Osa is great at defuser planting because as long as her Clear Shield isn’t destroyed by enemy explosives, she can plant the defuser while safely behind its cover
  • Osa can also melee her Clear Shield to make it opaque and use that opaqueness to hide things like claymores or herself
  • Both of Osa’s choices for her primary weapon, the 556XI assault rifle and the PDW9 submachine gun are powerful weapons capable of making short work of enemies
  • Osa has three choices for his secondary gadget and all of them have a good synergy with her role; smoke grenades for planting, claymores for protecting her back, and impact emp grenades for hard breaching

Choose Osa if:

  • You want to play a 3-health operator that doesn’t only have heavy armor, she can also protect herself more with her Clear Shield special gadget
  • You want to play an attacker that excels at intel gathering as well as defuser planting, as for both roles, Osa’s Clear Shield provides a lot of advantages
  • You want to play an operator that is well-known for being hard to kill but also has great offensive capabilities due to the weapons available to her

Best Loadout for Osa:

5. Capitao (Front Line, Map control)

Capitao could be the most underrated operator in this list. As mentioned above, a lot of players tend to steer clear of operators where they would have to do a lot of other things than shooting opponents, and with Capitao, the player will really have to do quite a lot of things with his utilities. But with some getting used to, Capitao can really have a huge impact in the match. Siege, after all, is a tactical shooting game where utilities play a crucial role. So the fact that Capitao reaches his full potential when his player makes great use of his utilities makes him truly one of the most impactful attackers around.

His special gadget, the Tactical Crossbow, allows him to shoot two fire grenades and two smoke grenades. Even that alone makes him powerful enough to be in this list, because both types of arrows are great for defuser plant attempts and post-plant plays. The smoke grenades of course are great for providing cover, while the fire grenades are great for denying area to the defenders after the defuser has been planted. Capitao also has access to two claymores per round, and they’re excellent in protecting the attackers’ back while they’re pushing

What Makes Capitao a Great Attacker:

  • Through his Tactical Crossbow special gadget, Capitao can shoot two fire grenades, which covers a large area in flames, making it an excellent area-denial device
  • Capitao can also shoot two smoke grenades from his Tactical Crossbow and they’re excellent for providing cover or distraction while the attackers are pushing
  • The two claymores in Capitao’s arsenal are great for protecting the whole attacking team from roamers while they’re pushing and attempting to plant the defuser
  • Capitao’s Para-308 assault rifle is one of the best assault rifles in the game due to its high stopping power, very manageable recoil, and wide variety of attachments
  • Capitao also has access to the gonne-6 hand cannon which he can use to disable troublesome bulletproof defender gadgets like Maestro’s Evil Eye that can ruin their defuser plant attempt
  • He can also carry hard breach charges instead of claymores and they’re great for vertical plays as they can be used to destroy the wooden floor above the objective spot

Choose Capitao if:

  • You’re in an organized team and your team wants to perform a rush. That’s because Capitao can provide the smoke cover as well as the area-denial during and after the push.
  • You want to play an operator that is great for teamplay while also having great offensive capabilities, as Capitao’s choices for his primary weapon are both powerful guns
  • You want to use an operator that has excellent utilities, not just his special gadget, but also his generic utilities as well as his gonne-6 hand cannon

Best Loadout for Capitao:

4. Dokkaebi (Intel, Map Control)

Intel-gathering plays a crucial part in Siege because as I said before, it’s a tactical game where the team with the better strategy is the one that usually wins, and a good strategy will be difficult to perform without intel. And when it comes to intel-gathering, Dokkaebi is one of the best. With that said, Dokkaebi isn’t only great at intel-gathering. She also excels at intel-denial. That’s because with her special gadget, the Logic Bomb, she can hack into defender mobile devices and force them to switch on and ring loudly. Obviously, this loud ringing often gives away their current locations to the attackers.

Not only that, but the loud ringing from the defenders’ mobile devices also usually masks the sound cues that attackers make when they’re pushing or rushing in, and that’s one way that Dokkaebi gathers intel while also denying it to enemies. Another ability that Dokkaebi has is being able to hack a dead defender’s mobile device. It takes several seconds and while doing so, Dokkaebi can be vulnerable as she won’t be able to do anything while the hack is on-going. However, once the hack is successful, it will grant the whole attacking team access to all defender cameras.

What Makes Dokkaebi a Great Attacker:

  • Through her Logic Bomb, she can force defenders’ mobile devices to turn on and ring loudly, and that loud ringing will let the attackers know where the defenders are
  • The loud ringing from the defenders’ mobile devices can oftentimes mask the sound cues that attackers make when they’re approaching
  • Dokkaebi can also hack a dead defender’s mobile device, and once that hack is successful, the whole attacking team will be able to access all defender cameras
  • While the Logic Bomb is active, and it lasts for several seconds, the defenders won’t be able to use their cameras. Instead, the only thing they’ll see is Dokkaebi’s icon with a black background.
  • Dokkaebi’s Mk 14 EBR is a marksman rifle that also excels at close to medium range shooting due to its high rate of fire and very manageable recoil
  • Dokkaebi’s secondary weapon choices are both machine pistols and they allow her to excel at close range engagements when her Mk 14 EBR needs to reload

Choose Dokkaebi if:

  • You’re playing in an organized team and your team wants to rush. Dokkaebi’s Logic Bomb is great for rushing because it compromises enemy locations and masks the sound of your approach.
  • You want to play a very versatile operator with 2-health and 2-speed rating and can provide intel to the whole team as well as deny intel to the enemy team
  • You want to play an operator that has high impact in all maps or situations, and one that has weapon choices that allows her to excel at any range

Best Loadout for Dokkaebi:

3. Flores (Anti-Gadget, Intel)

In the Capitao entry above, I said that he might be the most underrated operator in this list, but actually, it probably is Flores. That's because Flores is even more difficult to use than Capitao, and like I said, most players prefer operators where they can just focus on shooting enemies. Understandable, but Siege isn’t like other multiplayer first-person shooters out there. The use of utilities in Siege plays a major role in its gameplay, and when it comes to utilities, Flores has one of the most powerful. And his special gadget is not just powerful. They’re quite efficient and precise as well.

That’s because his special gadget, the RCE-Ratero Charge, is quite practically an exploding drone, and he has four of them. Flores can control the RCE-Ratero Charge for ten seconds before it switches to bulletproof mode for a few seconds and explodes. Flores can also manually activate its detonation countdown, and that’s why I said that they can be quite precise. Flores has good control over where he wants his exploding drones to detonate, and that makes him a very powerful operator. With Flores in the attacking team, defenders can be forcibly displaced from their entrenched positions and have their utilities destroyed.

What Makes Flores a Great Attacker:

  • He has four exploding drones and their explosion power is similar to that of a nitro cell, making them extremely lethal and great for destroying enemy utilities
  • He has good control on where he wants his exploding drones to detonate, so he can be precise in forcing defenders out of their hiding spots and destroying their gadgets
  • Since each of his exploding drones have a lot of power, Flores can also use them for creating entry points on unreinforced walls or hatches
  • An RCE-Ratero Charge when left alone will continue moving forward automatically, and with this function, Flores can use them as bait or distraction while he heads in to shoot enemies himself
  • Flores can bring in two claymores per round and they’re the perfect utilities for him as they can protect him while he’s controlling his RCE-Ratero Charges
  • His AR33 is an excellent assault rifle with heavy stopping firepower, very manageable recoil, and is compatible with scopes that provide high levels of zoom

Choose Flores if:

  • You want to play an operator that can precisely destroy a lot of defender gadgets, as Flores has a lot of control over where he wants his exploding drones to detonate
  • You want to play an operator that has a lot of capabilities to force defenders out of their entrenched positions, as they’ll have no choice but to run if an exploding drone begins their countdown near them
  • You want to play an attacker that doesn’t only have great utilities for precise destruction, but also has a lot of offensive power with his guns

2. Brava (Intel, Anti-Gadget)

Brava is one of the newest additions to the game but she quickly turned out to be one of the operators who has the biggest presence, not just in the game itself but also in community discussions. That’s how huge of an impact Brave has in the game, and that’s of course because of her special gadget, the Kludge Drone. She can bring two Kludge Drones into the round, and they’re quite like Twitch’s Shock Drones in that they can be controlled like regular drones. They can jump too, and they can shoot lasers that can disable defender electronic gadgets.

However, Brava’s Kludge Drones are quite different. That’s because there are defender electronic gadgets that wouldn’t be disabled by their lasers. Instead, they’ll be converted to attacking team’s gadgets. Examples of that would be Kapkan’s EDDs, Maestro’s Evil Eyes, among many others. This makes Brava one of the best gadget disabling attackers in the game, because she can either disable or convert defender electronic gadgets. On top of that, she also has great choices for her weapons and her utilities.

What Makes Brava a Great Attacker:

  • Each of her Kludge Drones can shoot three lasers that either converts or disables enemy electronic devices, so in total they can disable or convert six gadgets
  • Her Kludge Drones can convert damage type defender utilities like Kapkan’s EDDs, so if the defenders aren’t watchful, they can get killed by their own utilities
  • Brava can protect herself from roamers and run outs while she’s controlling her Kludge Drones with the use of the two claymores in her arsenal
  • Brava can choose the Para-308 assault rifle as her primary weapon, and as mentioned in Capitao’s entry, it’s a great weapon as it has heavy stopping power and very manageable recoil
  • She has 3-speed rating, and that allows her to catch up to her teammates as she has a tendency to be left behind when she’s controlling her Kludge Drones
  • She can equip a super shorty shotgun as her secondary weapon and she can use it as a utility for creating entry points or destroy unreinforced hatches

Choose Brava if:

  • You want to play an operator that excels in disabling or converting enemy gadgets, because Brava’s Kludge drones’ specialty is precisely that
  • You want to play an operator that has access to powerful primary weapons while having a great utility as her secondary weapon
  • You want to play an operator that can protect herself from enemies who will try to get her from behind while she’s controlling her Kludge Drones

1. Iana (Front Line, Intel)

Iana is one of the most popular attackers around, if not the most popular. Her pick rate is extremely high, and that’s because she’s very fun to play while also being very deadly. Her special gadget, the Gemini Replicator, produces an exact holographic copy of her that can also mimic her movements except of course shooting, rappelling, or throwing projectiles. What’s more is that she can use this holographic copy as a drone as she can see through its eyes. And since her special gadget is only limited via cooldown, Iana basically has unlimited drones.

She can use her holographic copy to scout ahead and gather intel on enemy positions. When it's shot, the holographic copy will disappear and the Gemini Replicator goes into cooldown. However, unless they were using a suppressor, the one who shot it would likely have given away their location through the sound of their gunshot. Iana’s Gemini Replicator isn’t only great for intel-gathering. It’s also great for confusing enemies. And when it comes to fragging, Iana has the powerful G36C assault rifle as one of her choices for her primary weapon, and like Ash, she can also equip it with a scope 1.5x.

What Makes Iana a Great Attacker:

  • Through her Gemini Replicator special gadget, she can create a holographic clone that she can use to scout ahead of the mission building and gather intel
  • Since the holographic clone looks exactly like her and moves like her, it can cause some confusion to the defenders and usually they’ll shoot it, giving away their location in the process
  • For directly dealing with her enemies, Iana can equip the G36C assault rifle which has high damage, decent rate of fire, and can be equipped with a scope 1.5x
  • Iana can bring two grenades into the round, and she can use the intel she’s gathered from her holographic clone to be more precise with the throwing of her frag grenades
  • Iana’s Gemini Replicator is only limited by cooldown, so it’s like Iana basically has unlimited drones, because she can just keep creating holographic clones of her for intel gathering
  • Through her holographic clone, Iana can ping enemies or enemy gadgets, and it’s an easy way of sharing intel to her teammates

Choose Iana if:

  • You want to play a highly dynamic and very fun operator while also having a lot of firepower through her G36C assault rifle and frag grenades
  • You want to be able to scout ahead of an area safely before entering it, because Iana’s holographic clone can be used as a drone
  • You want to play an operator that can cause some confusion to enemies while also gathering intel for yourself and your teammates
