As of now, Klee is the only Pyro Catalyst that we have in the game. A very tempting pair, if I might say so. Personally, she’s one of my favorite characters and I’ve been waiting for her banner to come back.

Klee only has the best interest at heart; wanting to share her joy in the form of explosives, not realizing how it might bring harm. Her love for these fiery things is just what we as players need to deal a great amount of (Pyro) damage.

Klee’s Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, and Elemental Burst, Sparks ‘n’ Splash, are just bombs and even more bombs. This means the kid is just really keen on AoE Pyro DMG; which is good because Pyro brings in more DMG, plus it can continuously react to other Elements for Elemental Reactions.

Frankly speaking, there isn't much to explain about Klee except that you’re lucky if you love Pyro Vision and you have her in your party.

But, the Pyro-ness in her kinda makes it hard to decide different builds that don’t only push her Element. Also, it’s quite tricky figuring out a few builds for a Catalyst, but here are the top 3 builds for Klee.

3.  Pyro DPS Build: Skyward Atlas – Crimson Witch of Flames

Klee is arguably one of the best Pyro main DPS characters in the game. To optimize her Pyro DMG, you’ll need Skyward Atlas and the full set of Crimson Witch of Flames. 

Skyward Atlas increases Elemental DMG Bonus by 12-24%. Hits from Normal Attack have a 50% chance to earn the favor of the clouds, in which they will seek out nearby enemies and attack them for 15 seconds, dealing 160-320% ATK DMG. This can only occur once every 30 seconds.

The Crimson Witch of Flames set is just the best set for Klee in general; as the two-pieces set gives her a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus while the full set also increases the DMG done by Overloaded and Burning by 40%, Vaporize and Melt DMG by 15%. Furthermore, activating Elemental Skill will increase the 2-pieces set effects by 50% for 10 seconds. This can be stacked up to 3 times. 

The reason why this combination is great for her Pyro DPS Build is because both the weapon and the artifacts set help boost her Elemental DMG. To top it off, it even increases DMG done by Elemental Reactions that react with Pyro.

On top of that, as a Catalyst, Klee constantly deals Elemental DMG. This means the Pyro DMG Bonus from the set and the weapon basically upgrades her overall ATK in general. 

But, there is another choice for you to consider if you’d rather not use the full set of Crimson Witch of Flames. You can also use two of this along with two Gladiator’s Finale, which would boost ATK by 18%.

• Not only her Pyro DMG, her Elemental Reactions are also enhanced

2.  Charged Attack Build: Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds – Wanderer’s Troupe

The next build for Klee is meant to optimize the use of her Charged Attack. Klee’s Charged Attack deals Pyro DMG to enemies whilst consuming a certain amount of Stamina. The DMG is 157% and costs 50 Stamina.

For this, the best build to use is Lost Prayer to Sacred Winds and the Wanderer’s Troupe set. 

The weapon increases Movement SPD by 10%, which is great because Klee would need to keep running around with her Stamina being used for her Charged ATK. In battle, you gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s which can be stacked 4 times. This can go on and on until Klee leaves the field.

Wanderer’s Troupe full set will give you the following effects: (2) Increases Elemental Mastery by 80 and (4) Increases Charged ATK DMG by 35% for Catalyst and Bow user. I feel like it’s pretty self-explanatory why this set is used on this purpose.

Now a little note, here. Why do we even consider the choice of boosting her Charged ATK over her overall Pyro DMG? The reason is simply: her passive talents.

At Ascension 1, DMG done by Jumpty Dumpty and her Normal ATK will give Klee a 50% chance to obtain an Explosive Spark. This will fuel the next Charged Attack, costing it no Stamina while the DMG is increased by 50%.

Moreover, at Ascension 4, when her Charged Attack results in a CRIT, all party members gain 2 Elemental Energy. Neat, right?

Why the Charged Attack Build Is Great:

• You can maximize the effect of her Ascension Talents
• Charged Attack is rather quicker to fill than the Elemental Skill CD
• The weapon increases her Movement SPD

1. Free-to-play Build: Mappa Mare – Crimson Witch of Flames

The Free-to-Play Build for Klee consists of Mappa Mare and the Crimson Witch of Flame set.

As I said earlier, it’s quite tricky to figure out different builds for Klee because she’s pretty much dependent on her Pyro Vision and the Crimson Witch of Flame set is the best set for her as a Pyro Catalyst. If there’s a second choice, it would probably be the full set of Lavawalker.

Mappa Mage grants Klee an 8% Elemental DMG bonus for 10 seconds when you trigger an Elemental Reaction. This can be stacked up to two times.

The Crimson Witch of Flames set gives you a 15% bonus Pyro DMG, and using all four will increase the DMG done by Overloaded and Burning by 40%, and Vaporize and Melt DMG by 15%. On top of that, activating Elemental Skill will increase the 2-pieces set effects by 50% for 10 seconds. This can be stacked up to 3 times.

The pair of Mappa Mage and Crimson Witch of Flames complement each other in the way that it encourages Klee to constantly trigger an Elemental Reaction. This makes her a better character for a team play.

Why the Free-to-play Build Is Great:

• This build is easier to get than the others
• The set and the weapon increases the DMG by her Elemental Reaction
