He may be gentle and peaceful like an autumn wind, but Kazuha can surely blow everyone away with the right build.

Kaedehara Kazuha is a 5-star Anemo sword user known for his ability to deal incredible Swirl damage while increasing the team’s overall Elemental DMG. Furthermore, he’s known to be able to effectively inflict crowd control amongst small to medium-sized opponents, creating a preferable advantage on the battlefield.

But how will you take advantage of all these amazing things Kazuha can bring you? We got you covered. Here are the top three builds for Kaedahara Kazuha.

3. Physical DPS Build

Before we go onto Kazuha’s amazing capabilities as an Elemental Support, at number three is a build that utilizes his very fast Normal Attack skill and maximises it by building him as Physical DPS. Furthermore, this is a build you should consider if you want Kazuha on the field all the time.

Here’s what you’ll need for Physical DPS Kazuha.

Artifacts to use:

4-piece Pale Flame

• 2-piece: Physical DMG +25%.
• 4-piece: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 3 times and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Once 3 stacks are reached, the 2-set effect is increased by 100%.

An alternative build for this is 2-piece Pale Flame and 2-piece Bloodstained Chivalry, which will consistently increase his Physical DMG by 50%. This build will not require you to use his Elemental Skill whatsoever.

Stats and substats to look for:

• Flower (Flat HP fixed): ATK, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Plume (Flat ATK fixed): ATK, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Sands (ATK%): ATK, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Goblet (Physical Damage Bonus): ATK, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Circlet (Crit Rate or Crit Damage): ATK, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage

Of course, being a Main DPS means you must have an appropriate weapon that will help boost your overall damage. With that being said, Physical Main DPS Kazuha will need a sword that will boost his Normal Attack damage. Here are some of the best weapons for this Kazuha build for both F2P and P2W players.

Best weapons for Physical DPS Kazuha:

• Prototype Rancour is a craftable 4-star weapon that boosts Kazuha’s Physical DMG Bonus while also boosting his overall ATK and DEF stat, making it a very good weapon for this Kazuha build. The best part about it is that getting this weapon won’t involve the Wish (gacha) system! Very F2P-friendly indeed.

• If you’re fine spending a little bit of money, you can buy the Battle Pass for tons of rewards, which can include the Battle Pass weapon The Black Sword that Physical Main DPS Kazuha can efficiently use. Not only does it increase his Normal Attack and Charged Attack damage, it will also heal his HP based on his ATK every 5 seconds if Kazuha lands a Crit Hit!

• For P2W players who don’t mind spending a little bit more for Kazuha, the 5-star weapon Aquila Favonia is the best one for Physical Main DPS build. Its base stats are better, not to mention the weapon substat is a lot of Physical DMG Bonus. The weapon skill will increase Kazuha’s overall ATK stat while giving him a layer of protection when he gets hit! This is the perfect weapon for Physical Main DPS Kazuha.

Being a Physical Main DPS means you have to trigger the elemental reaction Superconduct (Electro + Cryo), which will decrease the affected opponent’s Physical DMG resistance by 40%. Building Kazuha with Electro and Cryo units will surely magnify his damage output. Furthermore, since Kazuha is an Anemo unit, triggering the Anemo Elemental Resonance will increase his attack speed.

With all those helpful points to consider, here are some of the best team compositions for Physical Main DPS Kazuha:

• Kaedahara Kazuha, Fischl, Kaeya, Sayu
• Kaedahara Kazuha, Beidou, Diona, Sucrose
• Kaedahara Kazuha, Raiden Shogun, Kamisato Ayaka, Venti

2. Cryo Infusion DPS Build

Kazuha’s Passive Skill Poetics of Fuubutsu is what makes him a very good support, which means you will have to build him with a lot of Elemental Mastery, if you want to take advantage of this.

With that being said, coming in at number two is a somewhat overlooked, but still very efficient build for Kazuha. This build will take advantage of his support capability as mentioned above while still retaining Main DPS status. With this build, it is crucial to level up all skills.

This build mixes in Kazuha with Cryo Infusion. If set-up with the correct skill sequences, he can indeed deal very significant Cryo damage with the help of Chongyun’s Elemental Skill. If you’re wondering why we aren’t promoting Anemo Infusion instead, that’s because Kazuha’s Anemo Infusion is locked in his sixth constellation, which is very expensive to achieve.

Think of this build as Maguu Kenki, where you both use Anemo and Cryo to obliterate all your opponents. It is certainly an out of the box build for Kazuha, but has been proven to be effective nonetheless.

Without further ado, here is what you will need for Cryo Infusion DPS Build Kazuha.

Artifacts to use:

2-piece Blizzard Strayer and 2-piece Viridescent Venerer

2-piece effects: Cryo DMG +25% and Anemo DMG +25%, respectively.

Stats and substats to look for:

• Flower (Flat HP fixed): Elemental Mastery, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Plume (Flat ATK fixed): Elemental Mastery, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Sands (Elemental Mastery): Elemental Mastery, ATK, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Goblet (Cryo DMG Bonus): Elemental Mastery, ATK, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Circlet (Crit Rate or Crit Damage): Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge, Crit Rate, Crit Damage

• You would want around 300-600 Elemental Mastery for Kazuha. This can be achieved with the combined help of weapon substats and artifact substats.

As for weapons, achieving balance is the key to making this build work. Consider what you lack for Kazuha’s stats. Do you need more Elemental Mastery? Do you need more Crit Rate or Crit Damage? Worry not, we have the solution on each of these issues for all players.

Best weapons for Cryo Infusion DPS Kazuha:

• If you are lacking on Elemental Mastery for Cryo Infusion Kazuha, you are quite lucky to know that Iron Sting is a craftable 4-star weapon that will help fill in the missing stats while also increasing your overall Elemental DMG.

• If you lack Crit Rate, however, you’re going to have to spend a little extra and get the Battle Pass weapon The Black Sword if you don’t want to keep grinding for artifact substats. 
• Undoubtedly, the best weapon for Cryo Infusion Kazuha will come with a price. The 5-star event weapon Mistsplitter Reforged is a weapon that will increase both his Elemental DMG and Crit Damage. Don’t be surprised to see huge numbers in both his Swirl damage and Normal Attack damage that’s infused with Cryo.

Achieving this build will always need a team that pairs Kazuha and Chongyun together. You cannot remove Chongyun whatsoever, but you can take advantage of the Cryo Elemental Resonance which will increase your Crit Rate against enemies affected with Cryo. 

Furthermore, taking advantage of the most damage-amplifying Elemental Reaction in the game, which is Melt (Pyro + Cryo), will bring you to heights you never thought you’d see Kazuha reach as a Main DPS. If you want a bit more control in the battlefield, building a team around the Freeze (Cryo + Hydro) Elemental Reaction is the way to go.

Here are the best team compositions for Cryo Infusion DPS Kazuha:

• Kaedahara Kazuha, Chongyun, Diona, Xiangling
• Kaedahara Kazuha, Chongyun, Xinqiu, Rosaria
• Kaedahara Kazuha, Chongyun, Kamisato Ayaka, Hu Tao

A final note about this build is that there is another version to it, namely Pyro Infusion DPS Build. However, it is locked behind Bennett’s sixth constellation, which not everyone might easily have compared to having Chongyun without any constellations. With that being said, we decided to expand on the Cryo Infusion DPS build instead.

1. Viridescent Venerer Support Build

Kaedahara Kazuha is unquestionably one of the best supports in the game, as evidenced by the previously stated Passive Skill Poetics of Fuubutsu, which will need for him to trigger the Elemental Reaction Swirl (Anemo + Cryo/Hydro/Pyro/Electro).

The artifact set Viridescent Venerer can decrease the opponent’s Elemental RES depending on which element Kazuha has Swirled. With high Elemental Mastery plus the artifact effect, Kazuha will make the Main DPS achieve huge numbers with their damage and at the same time deal devastating Swirl Damage. 
Efficiently using this build will need for you to level up all his skills, as his Elemental Skill plunge attack will scale from his Normal Attack skill.

This build will make him a god-tier support that can consistently deal significant damage. Here’s what you’ll need to achieve this build.

Artifacts to use:

4-piece Viridescent Venerer

• 2-piece effect: Anemo DMG +15%.
• 4-piece effect: Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s.

Stats and substats to look for:

• Flower (Flat HP fixed): Elemental Mastery, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Plume (Flat ATK fixed): Elemental Mastery, ATK%, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Sands (Elemental Mastery): Elemental Mastery, ATK, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Goblet (Anemo Damage Bonus/Elemental Mastery): Elemental Mastery, ATK, Crit Rate, Crit Damage
• Circlet (Crit Rate or Crit Damage): Elemental Mastery, Energy Recharge, Crit Rate, Crit Damage

Again, you would want around 300 - 600 Elemental Mastery for Kazuha to effectively use his Passive Skill.

Much like with the previous build, the key with building Kazuha is balance. There’s a lot of stats to consider to make him give big boosts to the team’s Elemental DMG while still dealing a lot of damage on his own. Always consider what you’re missing on his stat sheet and work from there.

Best weapons for Viridescent Venerer Build Kazuha:

• If you find that Kazuha’s Elemental Burst isn’t as up as you would want to be, consider using Sacrificial Sword to make up for your need for more Energy Recharge. Not to mention, if you activate the weapon’s passive skill, Kazuha will be able to do his Elemental Skill twice in a row, dealing twice the amount of damage and providing twice the amount of CC. If you don’t have Sacrificial Sword, you may use Favonius Sword instead.

• Iron Sting is still the best and F2P-friendly way to give Kazuha more Elemental Mastery. This will give you more flexibility in your artifact substats as the weapon will surely help you achieve the required Elemental Mastery to make Kazuha efficient.
• In terms of 5-star weapons, the event weapon Freedom-Sworn is perhaps the sword that is built specifically for him. The substat of the weapon is Elemental Mastery, but beyond that, the weapon skill will increase everyone’s (including Kazuha!) damage output along with an added 20% extra ATK bonus! All he needs to do is trigger an Elemental Reaction twice, which he can easily do! If you want to spend money on Kazuha, then this is the right weapon to spend on!

One of the best things about Viridescent Venerer Kazuha is that he can be placed with virtually any team. He can increase the Elemental DMG of Pyro, Hydro, Electro, and Cryo units. Additionally, he provides consistent Swirl damage and a little CC to help you manage the battlefield. A little bonus is that all his skills look really cool, especially when Swirled!
