“Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” Gameplay
Since 1964, the Metal Gear series has been captivating players of different generations, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is no different. Taking place chronologically after Metal Gear Solid 4, Revengeance re-introduces players to Raiden, an ex-child solider who is now a cyborg working in the security consulting division of the military. Traditionally, Metal Gear games focus on stealth battling, but that is not the case in this installment. Revengeance can be described more as a traditional hack-and-slash action game, with a new “cutting system” that allows for high levels of precision in and out of battle. Despite its differences, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance offers players a fun new way to enjoy Metal Gear, while keeping true to its exciting gameplay.
