“Bayonetta” Gameplay

Sharing the same director, Hideki Kamiya, Bayonetta is the younger sister game of Devil May Cry. However, in this game players become the gunslinging witch Bayonetta, who has just awoken from a 500-year long sleep. Players will work backwards to figure out what caused Bayonetta’s deep sleep. The combat system is like Devil May Cry, with a battle stage rating system reminiscent to Viewtiful Joe, which was also directed by Kamiya. Bayonetta performs combination using four guns, two in her hands and two in her feet, along with her long hair. Despite the dark concept associated with the game, the game has a flashy and humorous personality that will keep players coming back for more.
