Buying items is a basic of the game and without which you won't get far not even through the laning phase, small items like tangos and healing potions have to be bought from the shop as well.

In total dota 2 has 3 shops per team, One in their base, one in your side of the map and one on the enemy’s side of the map all of these are accessible per team. You can buy items from the enemy’s base however that is almost impossible in the early game.

How it works:

• Left click on the shop.
• Go through the items and select the one you have to buy, you gotta have the gold for it.
• Now right click on the item to buy it. Some items have specific parts you gotta buy first to complete the recipe.
