No matter what your style of play is, you’ll need weapons, and Days Gone provides players with over seventy different options to choose from.

The comprehensive list of every gun, trap, craft item, and bomb gathered below is the perfect thing to take a look at before heading out into a world fallen apart.

Sidearms

The Sidearms are meant for small fights, cleaning up straggling enemies, and saving more important weapons for later. Almost none of these pocket-sized guns will really be useful for horde-killing, but that doesn’t mean you can afford to skip ‘arm day.

1. 9mm

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/9mm

This is the starter pistol in Days Gone and a common find on dead bandits. It’ll get you by in the beginning but think about replacing it as soon as possible.

How do you get a 9mm if you lose or trade yours?

  • Find it by scavaging abandoned places.
  • It's a random marauder drop once the bandit has been killed.

2. SMP9

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/SMP9

The SMP9 is a versatile weapon that gives you the power and speed of an SMG in the compact size of a sidearm. A nifty feature of the gun is that it comes in three different conditions, each with slightly different stats.

How to get the three different conditions of the SMP9:

3. Lil’ Stubby

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/Lil%27_Stubby

A shotgun in a can, this weapon takes no prisoners while also allowing you to blow enemies away while on your bike. Like the SMP9, you’ll find three different conditions of this gun to choose from.

How to find the three different conditions of Lil’ Stubby:

4. The Sheriff

How to get The Sheriff:

5. SAP9

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/SAP9

This gun is a slightly better model than the 9mm, but really, it’s not good for you compared to others.

How to find the SAP9:

6. Eliminator

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/Eliminator

This pistol is deadly.  It brings you high damage at the cost of high recoil, but won’t let you down.

Where to get the Eliminator:

7. The Mayor

Additional Information: https://owwya.com/days-gone-pistol-best-recommended-pistol-guide/

Another shotgun sidearm, this pistol’s low magazine size and accuracy gives it more of a mixed vote than anything else.

How you get The Mayor:

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/Law_And_Disorder

8. PDW

https://daysgone.fandom.com/wiki/PDW

The PDW is capable of stopping multiple targets in their tracks with incredible accuracy. It’s a high-grade pistol great for any fight.

How to get the Rock Chuck:

Specials

With your hands full of a Primary and a Sidearm at your hip, it makes sense that only weapons labeled as ‘Special’ would be capable enough to be worth lugging around as well. These tools are not your normal run of the mill peashooter, not the least of which because their ammo normally can’t be found in the open world. It may cost a pretty penny to keep these puppies fed, but each and every one can give you a leg up in surviving out on the Broken Road.

Where can you get an M40?

35. MG 45

This light machine gun’s large magazine and high rate of fire can make it a great early horde-killing tool if you can work around its recoil.

Where do you go for an MG 45?

A semi-automatic sniper rifle would be great for players needing to put down multiple enemies at a distance.
