In a post-apocalyptic world, the Cronus Foundation provides employment and refuge from unforgiving wastelands. However, things may not be what they seem; there are those who are fighting back to reveal the true nature of the Cronus Foundation.

Investigate different environments in third person and take in all the beautiful graphics and unique gameplay.

Upon inspecting the photo, it would appear that this is a test chamber, perhaps. The arrow pointing to the entrance, the loner out front of the opening, the gathering of others outside in a protested manner all give me clues that this is probably an accurate assumption.

In an almost fully automated city, Los Ojos, Lina is the last human driver-for hire, and her one goal is to find her lost friend. She will have to endure various passengers with different temperaments, but they all have one thing in common—information about the city. However, she will find that with the more she learns, the more dangerous things start to become.

Lina, pictured above, transporting someone through the city in an attempt to obtain more information that will hopefully lead to her friend, Savy.

This city is brimming with color and personalities. You never know who your next customer will be, but you can guarantee that it won’t be a dull experience.

Being a detective in an apocalyptic world is not an easy job. Bribery and fraud are just some of the things that tempt good cops to go crooked. With such an unstructured justice system, it is not hard to fall prey to the dark side and become a dirty cop. Accept bribes or convict the guilty; the choice is entirely up to them.  

Make your own choices in Disco Elysium. Help the innocent or take bribes from the criminals. How you implement justice is entirely up to you.

You might be an alcoholic, but man are you good at your job. Sometimes the things that hold others back, give some people an advantage, or at least I’m sure that’s what he tells himself.

An excellent game for any anime lover. It fosters lots of humor and relatable experiences for any nerd that finds it hard to attract an ample mate.

This game features beautiful graphics, cute characters, charming dialogue, and best of all, fun gameplay.

Detective Lotor takes the case thinking it will just be another unfaithful husband but soon realizes that not all is as it seems. There is more to Mr. Odette than Detective Lotor or Mrs. Odette realize.

Detective Lotor, pictured above, is a detective based in an all-animal city. The gameplay looks quite exciting and the design is clean and creative. A game to keep an eye out for next year when it releases.

No audible sound in this game besides background music, but that might change as the game is not set to come out until some time next year. Nevertheless, the background music fits well with the scenes and text responses are engaging.

 

#11. Preay for the Gods

A world that is being plagued by a never-ending winter requires a hero to help discover the mystery behind the never-changing season. A lone warrior is tasked with such a task and works to uncover the truth behind this frozen winter land, but she will have to survive the colossal dangers at every turn.

Scary, massive, and powerful. The beasts of this game are undeniably epic, not only size but ferocity as well.  

 

#10. SUNLESS SKIES

Deep character customization, epic weapons, and a fantastic storyline make this game a dime. This game is the anime version of the beloved dark souls series. Offering intense boss fights and overall challenging gameplay, this provides the otaku fix you never knew you needed.

However, the locals who reside on this land is not willing to release such treasures lightly. The diplomacy of those who invaded this island becomes apparent, and it is up to you to decide the correct path.

Forge your path in this RPG and decide the fate of the island and all of its inhabitants.

The locals aren’t the only things you need to be wary of; there is more to this place than meets the eye.

Gorgeous graphics, pretty anime girls, epic battles, and a great story, is there anything not great about this game!

Seeing that the creator of Castlevania made this game, it’s only natural that the gameplay is almost identical to that of its predecessor.

 

#3. The Outer Worlds

After awaking from cryo-sleep, it becomes clear that you are the only one out of your entire colony who is conscious. A scientist by the name of Phineas Welles explains that he only had enough serum to revive you. The serum is needed to prevent the painful death that awaits anyone who wakes from cryo-sleep without this cure. The only way to solve the rest of your colony is to help this man and trust what he says is true; the rest of your colony is at stake if you don’t.

Beautiful graphics with inviting structures begging you to search them for epic loot.

With the combination of stunning creatures like those from the Fallout series mixed with the bright and intoxicating colors of certain games like the Borderlands series, we get this creatively stunning result above.

 

#2. Shenmue 3

After discovering his father’s death, Ryo Hazuki sets off to find Lan Di, the one responsible. Hazuki travels to Gullin, China, to begin his search for Di, where his path crosses with a mysterious girl. They decide to embark on this journey together to catch the man who murdered Ryo’s father.

What a beautiful city—full of color and opportunity. I wonder if our target is here.

On a planet called Pandora, there are stories of places called vaults. These vaults are rumored to contain vast amounts of wealth and treasure, for which many people, organizations, groups, and mercenaries have tried to obtain. When the rumors are proven to be accurate, the race is on to locate as many vaults as possible and gather as much treasure as possible. What could go wrong?

All this loot just waiting to be collected—I wonder what treasures are here.
