10. Doom (Classic)

Doom (Classic) Gameplay

Doom needs no introduction. It basically invented the first person shooter genre as we know it. Whether it's blasting demons in the face or blowing them up the kinetic gameplay still holds up. Plus it's been ported to a fridge.

Get ready to blast enemies as enemies run at you in Doom (Classic)

9. Fallout 4

Fallout 4 Gameplay

Creating your own path is what made Fallout what it is today and the latest singleplayer entry sticks with that mantra and doubles down on it. Whether you want to murder everyone in sight (besides kids) or try to save the world the choice is yours.

Take up arms against a Behemoth, a radiation created creature that wants one thing, your death.

8. The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online Gameplay

The Elder Scrolls Online seamlessly merges the world of The Elder Scrolls with the tried and true MMO formula to create a world in which the player tackles quest after quest while leveling up to become a mage, a knight or anything in between. Going back to Skyrim, or Morrowind, even Elswyer and Summerset feel great to fans of the series and newcomers alike.

Using the skills you have learned take your character out into the wilds in ESO to test your might and level up, becoming even more powerful and a force to be reckoned with.

7. The Evil Within 2

The Evil Within 2 Gameplay

Father of the Resident Evil Franchise Shinji Mikami created a horror franchise that for a while was the best Resident Evil content being created. Play in third-person as a detective trying to rescue their daughter while navigating a nightmarish world with even more terrifying creatures.

One of the nightmare scenarios created by Shinji Mikami, Detective Castillo makes his best attempt to take down a monster.

6. Skyrim

Skyrim Gameplay

If somehow you’re one of the 5 people left, yet to play this game the point of Skyrim is the world is your oyster. You can explore the world of Skyrim, taking on quest, leveling up your character, catering it to your playstyle, and possibly playing the campaign (300 hours and I have still never killed the final boss). Oh and there’s dragons, what more do you need? Yes it gets ported to everything (even Amazon’s Echo) and no that's necessarily a bad thing.

Use a flame spell and a sword take on this fire breathing flying reptilian and hope that you live to tell everyone about it later. I hope you remembered to save.

5. Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order Gameplay

Kill Nazi’s with fast kinetic gameplay making sure each shot counts. That’s the elevator pitch for Wolfenstein as you play BJ Blazkowicz, a soldier in the resistance. An alternate take looking at if Germany won the WWII a decent story and amazing gunplay fight through Nazi’s as you try to liberate America from the 3rd Reich.

The famed gameplay of Wolfenstein BJ takes on a supersoldier and a mech dog with some gnarly teeth. Shred your enemies with your bullets and try to stay alive and make it to the next checkpoint.

4. Prey (2017)

Prey Gameplay

You wake up aboard a space station where things have clearly gone wrong. There are no people, you have no memories, and there’s Aliens that can transform into anything from a chair to a common teacup. Survive enemies, upgrade yourself, find creative weapons and figure out what has happened aboard the ship and what you can do about it.

One of the alien creatures that you come across in Prey (2017) use the creative weapons and abilities to take it down, but only when you're ready.

3. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Gameplay

An improved version of  the first game of the reboot. The same great gameplay you expect from the franchise. An older BJ Blazkowicz is still fighting against the world occupation at the hands of the Nazis. Fight enemies with the kinetic gunplay the series is known for and get to the end where you get to fight a very “special” enemy.

Blow Up a Zeppelin and take on your enemies. Wolfenstein never ceases the creative scenarios and encounters for you to kill Nazi scum.

2. Doom (2016)
