4. There is a Witcher TV Show and Film

Many of you know that The Witcher games are actually based on graphic novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski, but did you know that there’s also a television series and film based on it as well? 

The television series and film were called “The Hexer” and, unlike the game, were based on the books. The film was released in 2001 and the television series was released in 2002.

The television series was shot first and then edited together to make a two-hour film. The film was a complete failure and when the television came out the next year, it brought it’s ratings down too.

In an interview, co-developer Marcin Iwinski announced that there are 36 possible endings for the game. Iwinski said that the game’s open-ended style has let it to have so many endings.

This means for everyone out there who doesn’t have a lot of money, the Witcher 3 is perfect. Once you beat it just start over… thirty-five more times.
